Don't you guys find it strange that Patrick, who has solved hundreds of murder cases, doesn't get any strange feeling from any of the suspects?
If he sees a victim killed by Red John, he always knows it was him, he can feel it. How come he can't really feel anything when he is talking to the 7 suspects?

I think it might be because Red John is either Stiles (he is extremely smart) or Kirkland (Patrick and him haven't really talked enough), or Brett Partridge (again, they haven't talked that much but Patrick always had an uneasy feeling about him and now he is conveniently 'dead'.)

He's had lots of contact with Bertram, Haffner and now the sheriff, he would get a feeling if it's them, wouldn't he?
I also don't think it's Kirkland because of the next episode's preview. And I never considered Smith.

So for me it can only be Stiles or Partridge.:)

am I the only one who noticed the face figure drew by 'just married'? or is it just being too sensitive for scenes.. 

a kubrickian close up at this "just married" is important i think.

Lets see how ppl are posting their theories i this site..

After S06e01 --- most of them says partridge is not dead,he might be RJ.

After S06e02 --- Everybody claims Haffner is RJ.

After S06e03 --- Everybody says Tom is RJ.

common we are being played by the writers !!!

Did anyone not see the preview for next week when Patrick admits it's a fake list of suspects to trap RJ? And did you see the way CBI Ron just happened to be in this episode again, along with the way Patrick looked at him with that look in his eyes and said his name. If not, watch that part again a couple of times.....Patrick definitely privately suspects Ron, it's obvious to anyone who is really looking!

"The closer you look, the less you see."

That's my motto on the "suspects".

A lot of theories on here have been a reach. I mean 75% of them make no sense. The list from Heller is legit and Red John is on that list. Brett P. is DEAD and not coming back. That leaves us with 6 suspects. The lead up for season is going to keep everyone guessing on who Red John really is. It seems like with the conclusion of each episode from season 6, everyone is changing their theory. Now everyone believes it is the Sheriff.

I like how Heller as a writer, is keeping everyone guessing and on their toes. This reminds me of season 2 of Dexter where Dexter is being investigated as the Bay Harbor Butcher and he has his colleagues conflicting with one another and Agent Lundy is sitting back realizing that the Butcher is having the cops running around mindlessly. That is what Heller is doing with us. 

As a writer, Heller needs to bring the conclusion of this story arc to a neat and clean. Additionally, there are characters on the list that could be used later in the season such as Bertchum and Styles. So it remains to be seen who Red John will turn out to be.

come on guys...thomas mcallister, really ? i guy whose only jurisdiction is in Napa or whereabout the countryside ? i definitely don't see him being red john, no matter how spooky he is, and showing at the end, he is not actually afraid of heights.

i still think it's kristina frye, controlling a group of suspects, one being red john the killer, another being red john the informer, another being red john who has all the funds, etc etc....
