Wow!  I can't believe no one wrote about this yet!  It's not a theory but it's VERY OMINOUS!!!!  TWICE  Van Pelt and Rigsby mentioned how the rules were lifted about inner office fraternizing.  Sounds great, right?  Yes!  Now they can date.  They can get married.  They can even keep their beloved jobs at the CBI.   Oh wait.....  no.  They are leaving very soon.  Something tells me they will not be driving off into the sunset.

If I recall  ... spoilers said that that Van Pelt and Rigsbys departure would have some form of impact on the RJ case.  Who knows, maybe Grace has been under Bret Styles hypnotic/ transference since that day she met him and has been an unsuspecting mole all along.  Maybe that Kubrick smiley thing on their Just Married sign wasn't too far off the mark.

One thing is for sure... there was NO reason to have the CBI lift the fraternizing policy right at this time only to have them marry  ....then leave.  Whats the point?

Btw...I love how more and more people are seeming to accept the Mashburn theory.  Welcome!

Red John is not a single individual, but it is in fact a cult of sorts. Patrick Jane may or may not be a member.

This is not really a good theory about who is Red John, It's more about the relationship between Kirkland, Bertram, Reede Smith, McAllister and Darcy.
I think that they all think Jane is Red John (for some good reason, I hope), remember, Darcy says something about it in 4 season.
Kirkland is watching Jane since he became a CBI consultant. So, Kirkland called this "time" to keep an eye on Patrick.

But we all know that Jane is not Red John.

I think Red John is Thomas McAllister. He is taken out from suspects by not having fear of heights at the end of the episode, but he is afraid of pigeons. In S06E02 we learned some things about Red John, including that he may have a fear of heights and can whistles really good, all those things have been explored, but not the pigeons. They appear in the first episode of this season and has not yet been cited by Jane or anyone besides. Still in S06E02  the camera focuses in the hands of this strange lady who is feeding the birds. 
I believe that Sheriff Thomas McAllister is cheating with Kirkland and all others. 

I also believe that there is an important role for Bret Stiles, there must be a reason why he has been included in the list of suspects: Shortly before the list episode , we learned that Red John is a middle-aged man, who had less than 30 in 1988, in addition, Stiles does not match the Rosalind description.

I am Brazilian, and I don't speak english, so i don't know if I made myself clear. If you can't understand something, please comment and i try to write better. And I'm sorry if someone posted some theory like mine before, i never see one similar.

PEOPLE, YOU HERE RATHER BELIEVE THE FACT THAT BRETT PARTRIDGE IS ALIVE AND IGNORE ALL EVIDENCE THAT YOU HAVE ON PJ BEING RJ..I AM ASKING YOU WHAT EVIDENCE DO YOU HAVE THAT BP IS ALIVE? NONE..IF SOMEONE WRITES SOMETHING ABOUT PJ, BAM! UNLIKE, DISLIKE...BLA BLA...AND YOUR BEST DEFENSE IS WHAT HELLER SAID....

I WATCHED THE FILM BLOODY VALENTINE ( STARRING JENSEN ACKLES) WHERE THE PLOT WAS ALL ABOUT ONE KILLER WHO WAS KILLING EVERYONE...THE DIRECTOR DID SUCH A GOOD JOB THAT ALL THE TIME I WAS CHEERING FOR ACKLES GETTING ALIVE OUT IT ALL BUT AT THE END HET WAS THE KILLER WITH 2 PERSONALITIES....HE TRAPPED HIMSELF, WAS EVEN WOUNDED IF I REMEMBER BY HIMSELF AND ALL THE TIME I WAS BLAMING THE OTHER "MYSTERIOUS"  GUY WHO SAVED THE DAY AT THE END...OR DIED AMONG THE WAY :D I DONT REMEMBER...

PARTRIDGE DEAD THAN ALIVE WOULD NOT BE A BRILLIANT PLAN RJ MADE TO GET OFF THE SUSPECT LIST FOR ME AND IT WOULDNT BE A BRILLIANT PLAN MADE BY HELLER TO KEEP HIM OF THE HOOK.....

FOR SO FAR I CAN ONLY SEE THAT ALL THE RJ SUSPECT ARE GETTING OF THE HOOK ONE BY ONE....PARTRIDGE,SHERIFF,KIRKLAND BUT I CAN SEE THAT WE ARE SEEING MORE OF STUFF WE DIDNT KNOW ABOUT JANE......AND NEXT WEEK WE WILL SEE EVEN MORE ABOUT JANE...WHY IS HELLER GETTING US SO CLOSE TO PJ ALL THE SUDDEN...ISNT HIS JOB NOW TO GET US THE FACTS ABOUT RJ AND GETTING US CLOSE TO RJ, NOT JANE?

AND YES, SOMEONE WILL DIE FROM THE LIST IN THE NEXT EPISODE (PROMO) SO THAT LEAVES US WITH WHAT? 3 MORE SUSPECTS..

I DONT THINK RJ WILL KILL ALL OF THEM BESIDE HIMSELF AND THEN GO TO PJ AND SAY "HONEY IM HOME" :D

I DONT BELIEVE THAT THE LIST OF 7 THAT IS STOLEN HAS THE NAME OF RED JOHN AND I HONESTLY THINK THAT THE SECOND LIST DOESNT EXIST

AND YES, UNTIL I READ SOMEWHERE THAT HELLER SAID PATRICK IS NOT RED JOHN AND RED JOHN IS NOT PATRICK I WILL STAND FOR THIS THEORY 

IF SOMEONE ELSE TURNS TO BE RED JOHN I WOULD LIKE THAT ALLOT, BUT NOT SOMEONE PREDICTABLE....IT WOULD BE COOL:)

Based on the promo for next week's episode, I think RJ's next victim will be Sheriff Thomas McCallister.  It looks like his body on the ground.  If PJ made up a fake list of 7 suspects, Kirkland may be torturing PJ to get the real list of suspects.

H Hightower, Madeline
N Nathan Brown(a suspect in season 1, episode 3)

Red John is a collective group of these seven people.

I have seen Bruno Heller previously stating to media that Red John is not a one person. (When season 3 or 4 running)

May be there is no Red John. It must be a criminal organization with psychopaths.

A single person cannot do such accurate killings with such precision.

May be all 7 suspects are connected to this :o
