Since the actors who play Brett Partridge and Robert Kirkland are not listed in the cast of the showdown episode 6-7, I think it is safe to assume that their characters are both dead. Since Sheriff McCallister is included in the cast, my previous assumption that he would be killed in Ep. 6-,4 is incorrect. The body shown in the prevue for Ep. 6-4 may be someone not on the list of the seven that was revealed by RJ through Lorelei on the dvd. I believe it is possible that Kirkland kidnaps and tortures PJ because he found out that the list he stole from PJ was fake, and he wants the real list, but I suspect that before he injures PJ too much, RJ will interfere and perhaps kill Kirkland. RJ wants to keep PJ alive, has rescued him from death before.
