LATEST THEORIES

Hey Folks! I am disappointed of some of the votes here to people like Ray Haffner! So Obvious!

You have to think within the frameworks of the script and characters.
RJ is a proactive game-lover and super-smart evil psycho; negative of Patrick.

So think about this question:
What does he do after he has told Patrick he know about all of the people on the list?

My guess? He has always been one step ahead of Patrick as we have witnessed! He doesn't lay back for other witnesses to be eliminated and let PJ find him like that! He creates a game and fakes his death until all of the suspects are dead, and laughs his ass off! He needs to prove to Jane that he is smarter!

You can see some other reasons, referring to the first episode here:

Pls tell me why you think differently!
Thanks,
Tayaz

I have a crazy idea.  Brett Partridge isn't dead.  Think about it- we never saw a body.  The only follow-up that we got in the next episode was (if my memory serves me correctly) Gale Bertram stating that he was dead.  We thought we saw him die, but what if he was just acting?  Perhaps one of Red John's associates distracted Theresa Lisbon by opening the door, and then, the person who swiped her from behind and knocked her out was none other than Brett Partridge himself.  We have known all along that Red John has associates.  Although I don't necessarily think that Red John is a part of Tyger Tyger, I think he uses them to do his bidding.  I don't think any of them know who he is.  So what if Gale Bertram, and possibly others, helped cover up the fact that it wasn't Brett Partridge who died?  Maybe they killed some other poor sap and said it was Partridge.  Maybe there was no body at all.  I firmly believe that Partridge's death was faked.  His physical description and voice match perfectly.  I think he has been trying to throw Jane off track for years.  He also seems like the quiet, simple, understated, psychopath sort.  And, Heller had said that Red John IS one of the 7 on the list.  Brett Partridge has my vote for the identity of Red John.

I've seen the promo for "The Red Tattoo" and i fear it will eliminate Ray Haffner as a suspect, he'll still be alive (he's in the episode after, so he's deffo still alive), but he won't be RJ. He'll probably be a member of the Tyger club, but not RJ, which is annoying because he's been my guy since the Red Barn.

My new suspect is based on an unusual theory. We're assuming it was RJ who "rescued" Michael Kirkland from alcoholism and despair, what if it was Bret Stiles, and Michael Kirkland is actually his apprentice, Red John.

Would be cruel irony that Bob Kirkland was killed trying to gain info on his twin, who he believes to be dead. And if Michael is RJ, i can see RJ being a touch pissed that the Tyger club killed his brother, and he'll probably seek to eliminate all members of the club.

Regarding those who wonder why Robert Kirkland killed the RJ accomplice without asking who RJ really was?

I think possibly Micheal Kirkland who killed him not Bob.

As an organization, i think all of them has already had a role as red john in some point. That explains the different descriptions about him. But again as an organization, there must be a leader, someone with power and capacity to convince people to make such things for him, even sacrifice. And i lke Stiles for this. And as you can see, so far in season 6, there's almost no focus on him, just like Heller does with the guilty ones.

I think Partridge is dead, it would just be very lame if he wasn't, bad writing.
But the people who think he is alive, will love the fact that the Tyger Tyger organisation has connections in all layers of law enforcement.
Even as low as the people that drive the "prison vans" or,  the first responders that came to collect the body of Partridge.
We still have 0 confirmation that he actually IS dead.

Just poking the fire here.

This show is better when there's 1 normal case, with nothing to do with redjohn, and odd times, the end 1 clue that actually means something.

The way this tiger tiger thing is going, it sounds like I might never rewatch a single redjohn episode, its left that sour a taste in me. I enjoy Jane, and mysteries: the way it was from season 1-4. Not conspiracies 5-6.

I dont know if this page existed 4 years ago, but making the theories then was  exciting, writing  or in our head. Now my own theories of whats going to happen worry me.
