everybody is making a big deal about the meeting between bertram, smith and McAllister with what smith said to bertram that it was his job to find out what jane knows. leading to believe that both bertram and smith are part of tyger tyger. nobody is talking about what hightower said that it was her job to report what she know about jane and is now bertram job. so smith is correct that it is his job, but bertram is not necessarily part of tyger tyger. this would be just one of a long line of heller giving what was believed to clue. to having it mean something else. I believe someone else in cbi is the mole.

Theory #7009 • By StagKiz
Show this theory

I believe that NONE OF THE FIVE REMAINING SUSPECTS ARE RED JOHN, but are however, AIDING RED JOHN. Partridge was in fact aiding Red John, because he said the code words Tyger, Tyger. Which, if you remember, was in a poem recited to Jane earlier in the series. Also, keeping in mind that Reede is a part of the society that uses Tyger, Tyger as its code words, we can also assume that the three that jane walked in on in a meeting (Sharif McAllister, Gale Bertram, and Reede Smith) are part of that conspiracy, however i dont believe that onyone on the list is in fact Red John but lets think back a bit.
What is the one character whose status is unknown? Alex Jane; Patrick Jane's father. He would want to hurt Jane and his family, becaus Jane ran off away from the Carney life with his to-be wife, Angela. Perhaps it is possible that his father is Red John and just decided to get revenge at Jane, but if not Jane's father, i would say that the evidence found at the end of episode one of season six yeilds something else. It is possible that Teresa Libson only survived the encounter with Red John because he hesitiated and did not want to hurt her. Maybe it is someone who Lisbon knows and someon who doesnt want to hurt lisbon. This may lead Red John to be Ray Haffner because he seemed to take a liking to her early on when he offered her that job with the FBI. Another thought; maybe it's Sam Boscow, which is the most unlikely one, because he died in a Red John affiliated shooting in season 2; but wouldnt that be perfect? To exile yourself from the investigation by staging your own death? Food For though.

The main points to look out for is this:

-Tyger, Tyger is the code to get into the conspiracy group.
-Reede is part of the group.
-Reede was at the meeting jane walked in on where McAllister and Gale both were.
-Red John hesitated to kill Lisbon
-It is very likely Red John isn't one of the people on the list.
-Red John is very smart, probably ex-Psychic like Jane.
-Red John Killed An early memory of Jane's, possibly meaning that it must be someone that was that early back.
-Red John visited Jane's Therapist, and maybe presented misinformation.
-Lorelie Commented that she doesnt understand why Jane and Red John didnt become life long friends when they met.

I leave you with these observations i have made, even i am peicing together things. But in all i most firmly believe that Alex Jane may be someone to keep in mind when the end of this all comes in, because im saying he is very likely, what with how we havent been hearing about him except for in flashbacks. Also the fact that he is stated to be "A very wicked man". And who is to say Alex Jane wasnt a good psychic like Jane is.

McAllister is the only one of the 7 suspects that has fallen for a Patrick Jane trick (see first episode), but then manages to squirm out of it with a plausible excuse.

Two suspects are dead now and Reede Smith appears to be an underling.  He also seems quite out of shape and doesn't fit the profile of Red John, since Red John would need to be manipulative in a charming manner.  He also doesn't seem to be old enough given the info we've learned about Red John's time spent at the barn in his youth.

Gale Bertram seems like he might simply be out of the loop.  It's possible that the mystery surrounding Gale Bertram that has been played up was due to the DHS and FBI request to funnel information to Kirkland about Jane.

Bret Stiles is too sloppy with his followers.  He thrives on power given to him by his followers, but in doing so he doesn't choose them wisely.  I think there might be a tie between Bret Stiles and Red John.  It's possible that McAllister learned how to manipulate people from Bret Stiles, but rather than using that gift publicly, he uses it more discretely and selectively.  Bret Stiles would also likely have been identified by a psychologist in the same area as his Visionary.  Since Sophia didn't recognize him this helps rule out Bret Stiles.  She also described his posture as very poised and that fits McAllister more than Smith or Bertram.  When McAllister speaks politely it seems as though he's hiding something constantly.

It's easier to fake a lie when it's not a completely lie than if it were a whole lie.  I believe McAllister was actually afraid of birds, not heights.  We've seen Red John is likely left handed by how he holds the blade used to kill Patridge and McAllister saves Patrick from falling with his left hand.  A natural instinct to grab something important is almost always done with the dominant hand.

The DHS agents that broke into Jane's office stole the information for Kirkland, but nothing proves one of them wasn't a Red John conspirator and that agent could have sent the information to Red John as well.  If Red John had the same pool of 200 or so people he could have used some deduction to come to the same conclusion as Patrick.

Sorry for my english.
Keep calm and take RJ!!

Ok, I waver back on forth on this theory, as it's a bit out there... I still believe RJ is Patrick Jane even though Heller says he is not....why you ask?

What if...Patrick Jane doesn't or no longer exists...
What if...he was killed and Red John took his identity

That would mean that PJ is not Red John as Heller says, but reverse it...Red John is now PJ. This would explain why his wife and child also had to be killed. They would recognize the difference.

What better way to continue your crimes while not being caught. anyone remember Face Off the movie?

There are too many similarities and how RJ knows that list of 7 names is just too ironic.

What if the list are those he wants to get rid of and this is his way of skillfully doing so.

To my last point, in a French interview Heller mentioned that once RJ was revealed, the series must conclude and there could be no spin offs. That only implies the major character PJ must be outed. The intrigue lost. IMO that's because they are NOW the same being. A symmetry reminder by Tyger Tyger... Good and evil... PJ and RJ

Okay, so I know this is out there, but it's my gut!!

I WANT YOU TO READ THIS: THIS IS THE KIND OF DUMB THEORY I DO NOT WANT TO SEE!!!

Patrick retaliated to (Redjohn) Brett Partridge's "fake death," by helping fake the death of Homeland Security Agent Bob Kirkland. Patrick visits him in the centre and organises a plan. The scenes switch so quickly, it’s like no time has passed, but it has. Patrick asks Kirkland why he killed Jason Lennon, only to discover it was Michael Kirkland who killed him. Kirkland could easily tell the driver about "Tiger Tiger," and Kirkland had blood packets in his back. He was shot while he was running; as he knew was "protocol".

Kirkland gives shifty looks to the driver before Reede comes out of his car, like he's saying, "Damn, I hope this plays out like Patrick says it will." Then when he's walking out of in front of the car, is he chewing blood packets?

Bob Kirkland will be instrumental in Patrick's plan to catch Redjohn, if Redjohn is in hiding. For all Redjohn knows, Reede Smith shot Kirkland to hell. All Bob has to do is impersonate Michael, as well as Michael impersonated Bob.

You can tell Michael kills Lennon from one line: "I'm heere for you. I WON'T leaaave you" *Sarcasm* He's pissed that his brother Bob left him with his abusive father.
