Ok it's late and I'm a little drunk but I feel the need to vent. The way I see this list of 7 is that this is who RJ has given us. PJ has shown Lisbon some photos of these people in the order listed by Lorelei. He has clearly watched the recording prior to this. Which leaves me with questions!!! Re Bruno saying we can trust the list, well maybe we can if we are red john but not so much if we are on Patricks wavelength. PJ always has a reason for doing x, y or z and telling other people even Lisbon is not really a factor so long as the point is proved. PJ does say the list is down to 5 in last episode but his constant misdirection in every episode has u wondering why he says this. It seems a little too point blank. Especially when it comes to the case that means the most to him. Due to the nature of the beast I am finding it hard to believe pretty much any of the supposed clues we have to follow on our quest to find the killer of PJ's family. Realistically the purpertraitor of this sort of crime... Child killing... Will have to be one sick guy/ girl. None of these listed seem the type but I guess that's the trick if your a serial killer. Not being caught or obvious. I do really hope we get a spectacular ending to all this and will be sad not to read some of the awesome theories on this site after a few weeks we will know and we can all say we knew all along that so and so was red john. Apologies if u feel like I just ranted on but I guess my overall view is that the not knowing is the most exciting part. Sweet dreams

Hi guys, not much of a theory but just a question to see if I'm missing something. I feel like there is a major plot hole in the series... As we found out in 6x04 Red Listed, Bob Kirkland is in no way affiliated with RJ, in fact all he wanted to do was get revenge for the alleged murder of his twin brother right? My question is, why then in episode 5x18 would he kill Jason Lennon?? Jason knew who RJ was, he could have helped him get to him. Why then would he want to kill him without asking him anything about Red John? Is there something I'm missing? Or did the writers changed their minds between seasons or something like that?

First of all, I find it hard to believe that this "Tyger-Tyger" business has been going on under the noses of Jane, Lisbon, Cho and Rigsby without one of them noticing. And I agree with the recent comment on this board that at least one of them would have been invited to join-up (probably Cho: "The Iceman").

VanPelt has a secret. I suspect that she in involved with the Visualise cult. Remember when Stiles was in custody and he began to speak to her? She seemed interested - plus, VanPelt defended Stiles when others were disparaging him. I don't think that Stiles is Red John, but he knows who Red John is for sure. I strongly suspect that there will be some sort of a revelation about VP shortly.

Rigsby is, perhaps, hiding something also. Maybe he is a "Tyger-Tyger" member?

Lisbon is in love with Jane. This by itself is not a problem - but RJ being at large keeps Patrick close to her. If RJ is killed then Jane will likely move on - or find himself back in prison (or whatever). But the bottom line is that for as long as Red John is out there, Lisbon gets to keep Jane close.

I think that Red John is somebody close to the team - but may not be on the list at all. The list is probably just another one of Patrick's games. It may also be a device to divert attention from another person who Jane thinks is RJ. However, that fact that Red John knew who was on the list is proof that Lorelei is still alive. Maybe the body was a long-lost twin?

I am also intreagued by the idea that Red John may be revealed to the audience, but not to Jane, Lisbon & co.

Interesting.

To be honest, RJ could be anybody - but I'm gonna guess Ron for two reasons.

First, he is always there, but never really a part of any story line.

Secondly, his name is like a shortened version of Red John: R-O-N.

Here is my Red John theory. Brett Partridge is not dead and he is definitely RJ.

In considering the information about the physical appearance of Rj in the previous episodes, we see that Partridge perfectly fits the physical characteristics of RJ.

Secondly, Bruno Heller said that we were given clues about RJ in the first episode of the sixth season.

Here is the clue. Lisbon's back was towards the window when she was knocked down and we did not see anyone approaching her. Someone had to pull her down from the floor and that was Partridge.

This also explains why he did not kill her. If he had done that, Jane could have realise his fake death. By keeping her alive, Jane was distracted and cared what happened to Lisbon and went to the hospital with her. This is how magic works. You pay attention to beautiful woman and do not see the scam. As you know we did not see the dead body of Partridge.

Third, we saw active phones of McAllister, Haffner and Smith in Lisbon's office on the screen before she left the office. They are part of the Tyger Tyger organisation and cover each others dirts. This time they helped Partridge to stage his fake death.

Lastly, he is also son of Bret Stiles. This explains his connection to The Visualise. Bret and Brett connection. A kind of one t is first and two ts mean the second.
