Take a few minutes to read this theory and I can guarantee it will make you think differently.

First of all, let me just start off by saying Bruno Heller, you have done such a good job with The Mentalist on the Red John storyline. The fact we are so close yet so far is truly incredible.

Anyways, just read.

Everyone is going in circles so think differently. Bruno Heller has made us suspect each person that is on the list but stop thinking about who is physically able to Red John. Start thinking about Red John and forget about which suspect he could be.

Red John from the start has quoted William Blake's poem 'The Tyger'. And he quoted this verse:
Tyger! Tyger! burning bright

In the forests of the night,

What immortal hand or eye

Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
Notice on the third line, it mentions immortal hand or EYE. This is a reference to Visualize as noted by Visualize's logo.
The last line is a reference to the Kirkland twins. And we have figured out Bob had a twin called Michael hence the symmetry part.

Anyway, my theory is that Red John is only ONE MAN and hates the Tyger Tyger conspiracy and has strong links with Visualize.
Visualize member Ray Haffner said Jane has pissed off people beyond Red John which is the Tyger Tyger corporation.

Bret Stiles knows a LOT more than Red John and Patrick Jane as he once quoted a few seasons back. You all think Red John is the leader and controls everything but he is just a bishop in the game and the true king is Bret Stiles.
I believe Red John has been hinting to Patrick about this secret conspiracy about the Tygers. Patrick has been trying to figure it out for some time but hasn't.
Red John failed to inform Patrick about this Tyger tyger conspiracy and now it is gone out of his control.

So the three main things are Red John, Visualize & the Tygers. This could be the three dots on the man who killed Kyra.

Let me just conclude what I've said:
- Red John dislikes the Tygers and wants to take them down.
- Visualize are good guys and want the Tygers to be taken down also.
- Red John has links with Visualize and are both working together to take them down.

One last thing which is different to all of this but I want to say.
In the poem The Tyger by WB, there are these two lines.
Did he smile his work to see?

Did he who made the Lamb make thee?

You can figure out the first one which is just a reference to the RJ smiley face. The second line makes me think Red John is the son of the old leader of Visualize.
The founder of Visualize was killed by (in my opinion) the TygerTyger group. They framed Bret Stiles and Red John knew if it was Bret Stiles, he would of killed him. But he knows it is the Tyger Tyger corporation which is why Bret Stiles and Red John are trying to take down the Tyger Tyger conspiracy group.
