Well, first of all, Kirkland uncovered Tyger Tyger, as he told Smith during the RJ investigation. He told him that it was a corrupt group within law enforcement. Smith probably told the powers that be behind TT about Kirkland and they had to get rid of him before he blew the whistle on them. Kirkland tipped his hand to the wrong person.
Haffner could have been part of this when he was a CBI agent. Haffner could have reported information to Stiles. However, I still think TT is separate from RJ. Red John could still be part of TT though because all of the men on the list are law enforcement except Stiles. What better way to get information and form "high level" friendships? So if all of the men have the tattoo that means they all belong to TT. I think they won't all die in the explosion, that would be stupid on the writer's part. I think maybe one will be "missing" from the explosion, maybe Patrick will be also, chasing RJ, and the person missing will be RJ. I also do not believe anyone dead is RJ nor is any member of the Team. Now, are they TT members? Maybe. But RJ is someone on the list. Heller would not alienate a fan base to lie to them so blatantly as for RJ to not be on that list, if he did it would really surprise me.

Hello everyone,

I don't know who Red John is but maybe  I could Help.

So we just learned that Red John has a 3 dots tattoo. I think this clue given by Bruno Heller is not for Patrick Jane, but for us, the internet community.

Three dots is a common tattoo in the latino knowledge, it means "My crazy life" or "Mi vida loca".

"Mi vida loca" is the title of a movie directed by Allison Anders.

Turns out this woman has also directed two  very important episodes of The mentalist :

- The first one
- "The red barn" (S05E13), where Patrick Jane makes a concrete connection between Red John and the "Visualize" Cult. We can also this the first smiley of Red John in that episode.

I think the answer is in both episodes.

The paragraphs below are not necessarily linear, it is more of a compilation of my thoughts on the season up to this point:

Up until this week I thought for sure Haffner was RJ, however following this weeks episode I am almost positive it isn't him simply for the fact that he wouldn't have needed a private detective to bug the CBI as he was working with them and very well could have done it on his own. Additionally, I think that because Haffner has had such an eerie presence in most of his appearances this season, it only adds to my disbelief and makes me feel as though it is a clear red herring from the writers.

In a post a few weeks back, I also said I felt someone on Jane's team (Cho, Rigsby, or Van Pelt) had to be more involved with RJ and that we would soon find more in coming episodes. If RJ really did have an accomplice working directly with Jane, why would he bug the office? Although I still have my doubts about Van Pelt, I think what I said earlier may very well have been false.

After this next episode, I believe we will learn one of two things: either none of Jane's suspects are correct (which is impossible given Heller's statement is true regarding the validity of the list), or at least two of the suspects will escape the explosion from the promo leaving us on a total cliffhanger. To be completely honest, I don't have a clue who Red John is and if you think you "know" anything (excuse my French), but you are a jackass. I would love to see Stiles or Bertram, but I can't wait to see how things unfold!

MAX WINTER OR WALTER MASHBURN FOR SURE  is  RED JOHN. RED JOHN SHADOW IN SEASON 1
REPRESENTS HIS  " SPIRIT" . RED JOHN  PLAYING THE ROLE
AS THE GRIM REAPER IN SEASON 2 WHEN HE HELPED JANE AND MENTION THE TYGER TYGER
REPRESENTS HIS  "SOUL/MIND" AND IN SEASON 3 HE WAS
PRESENTED IN  " BODY/FLESH"  FOR THE 1ST TIME IN THE
PICTURE . SO PUT IT TOGETHER ( SPIRIT,SOUL and BODY): THIS IS THE MANNER IN
WHICH  GOD MADE MAN , REMEMBER THE CLUE  ''HE IS MAN"  AND THE POEM TYGER TYGER
SPEAKS  OF GOD DIVINITY IN THE CREATION OF THE TYGER AND WHICH ALSO GOES
TOGETHER WITH A NEXT POEM THE LAMB . THEY CANT DO WITH OUT EACH OTHER, THERE
CO-EXSISTANCE IS WHAT KEEPS THE BALANCE IN LIFE. HENCE  JANE THE
"LAMB'' AND  RED JOHN THE "TYGER" .THEY NEED EACH OTHER TO
KEEP BALANCE AND ORDER IN THE LIFE CYCLE. SO THE CLUE TO WHO RED JOHN IS ? WELL
ITS UP TO YOU BUT HIS 1ST APPEARENCE WAS SOMEWHERE IN SEASON 3. HE IS DEFINITLY
ONE OF THE CHARACTERS PRESENTED IN SEASON 3.  MY BEST BET AN I HAVE MY FINDINS FOR SAYING SO
IS THAT  'RJ' IS EITHER  WALTER MASHBURN OR  MAX WINTER , ONE
OUT OF THOSE TWO. THEY WERE THE ONLY OTHER TWO MENTALIST REVEALED IN THE SHOW
APART FROM JANE! WATCH AN U WILL SEE. BRUNO CLUE  MENTIONING THAT RJ "LIKES THE COLD"
WHAT HE IS TELLING YOU IS THAT WINTER IS THE SEASON OF THE COLD. SO IT COULD
MEAN TWO THINGS THAT  MAX WINTER MAY BE
RED JOHN OR THAT THE SEASON IN WHICH WINTER ACTED WAS SEASON 3 AS A RESULT  THE
" WINTER SEASON" SO THEN IT WAS SEASON 3 THAT RED JOHN  MADE A FULL PHYSICAL APPEARANCE FOR THE  FIRST TIME IN THE SHOW. THIS IS THE SEASON
YOU HAVE TO LOOK AT FOR YOUR SUSPECTS. THANK YOU FOLKS!  WALTER MASHBURN IS MY BIGGEST SUSPECT. STUDY
HIM!

First and foremost let me preface my hypothesis by saying that it's been a fun ride watching the Red John chase from the very start and I hope the ending will not be unsatisfying.

The next three episodes are going to flow like a movie, and my theory for "Fire and Brimstone" is that Jane believes he has collected all his clues he needs to identify Red John, with the final Red Tattoo clue being the big discriminator. What Jane does not know however, which the audience does, is the whole Tyger Tyger situation.

From the promo Jane has got all 5 suspects in the room at gunpoint to finally get the moment he has been waiting for for the past 10 years-to catch Red John. What I believe will happen is that Jane, almost in a extremely simplistic way by his standards (albeit somewhat rational), will order them all to take off their tops to reveal which has The Red Tattoo thinking that whoever does must be Red John. However, the twist that I am predicting is that MOST of the 5 will have that tattoo if not ALL of them. With the tattoo relating to the Tyger Tyger organization in some way. This will initially stump Jane, but be his first insight into finding out about the vast secret organization leading into the 7th episode (The Great Red Dragon), and delaying what he thinks will happen in "First and Brimstone" but will actually occur in the 8th episode, which is the reveal of Red John.

These 3 episodes are the climax of 6 years of storytelling. It's gonna be good. :)

A few other points:

Many believe that Red John is not any of the 5 or even initial 7. I personally believe Bruno on this matter, however anything could happen.

Something more important for me just as much as who Red John is, is a thorough explanation of EVERYTHING that has transpired during the Red John storyline, I.e the He Is Ma clue, how and why do his disciples do what they do. After 6 seasons, the Red John storyline needs to conclude not only entertainingly, but with good clarity into all the clues and red herrings, not only in these S6 episodes, but the whole series. I think the fans that have stuck by deserve that at the least, and laziness in the final chapter would be a shame.

The theories will be coming thick and fast now!

After some consideration and thoughts on RED JOHN, partridge does not have the power to recruit anyone. he father maybe but not him. Stiles is the only one with the charisma and charm to recruit so many people and get so many people to follow him and LOVE HIM so loyally. I mean even van pelt was close to selling her soul. Red John has to be either related to Stiles OR is the his son. There's no two ways about it. Noone else has the smarts, and the ability to brainwash so many people. It's him or his son and I won't find believable if it's anyone else, unless the back story is actually shown and unless we see the personlaity of the said person change completely in front of our eyes.

Also thinking about it, Rigbsy could not be REDJOHN unless both him and van pelt were in on it. Where would they get the time to disappear and do REDJOHN related things, you know keep the brainwashing business going etc.

So ya STILES or his SON with STILES doing the recruiting. Not one of the 5 on their own. That wouldn't wash with me. None of them seem to have any charm. This is RedJohn were are talking about. I don't see the sheriff doing all those things, or SMITH. Haffner maybe but with a personality change.

I think Red John isn't a single person yet a group of people, almost like a cult
