LATEST THEORIES

It is Haffner, because he is afraid of spiders. He is very strong built, has hair, thin, is apart of visualize since he was a teenager, during the 1988 or 89 murders of two men that was part of visualize, he was about 21 at the time and so he was about the right age to be Red John and had killed those men. He had asked Cho if he is smarter than Jane or is Jane smarter than him. Lisbon asked him if he was at Elliston's Farm and he dodged the question. Ray has a distasted for Jane, He has connection within CBI, put together a small firm for security but if you believe this theory, you world know that it is actually a cover up.

He can whistle and is about the height that RJ should be and remember Patrick is 5'10 so he is medium for an avenger guy.

Micheal Kirkland. 

In episode 6:4 when Robert Kirkland is telling PJ his brothers sob story he says his brother disappeared, but that he knew thru his twin bond that he was dead. This story has several seeming plot holes... how did  RK come to the conclusion that it was RJ that his brother had hooked up with? MK wouldn't have said anything using the name RJ, any indicators/descriptors given to RK would have narrowed down the suspect list considerably, wouldn't it? 

RJ is not shy about leaving bodies and/or smilies on his scenes, yet RK has no proof or evidence that his brother is even dead. So why jump to he's dead and RJ killed him? 

What if MK did find someone, from what we know it would fit someone from Visualize and that person or persons helped morph him into who we now know as Red John? Visualize is about self motivation and achieving goals thru any means necessary. If MK was a sociopath or even had dormant tendencies Visualize would have helped bring them out.

Not an RJ suspect but who else thought the new PI who got killed looked like Summer?  I was hoping Cho would get a similar pick up.
