Maybe Walter uses his friend Markam Shankar for the computer side of the crime. He also wore red in that episode and somehow managed to get the uptight Lisbon into bed and seems to games.

Rigsby is the killer, Red John, because he has the criminal father figure and always seems to be a little too gullible and overly amiable... all the time. tis not natural, methinks. He is Wayne Rigsby, not Clark Kent.
Additionally, when Van Pelt had the killer FBI dude for a boyfriend, Wayne told him that he ought not hurt Van Pelt and then made a determined threat to him saying, "You will have to deal with me!" 

Where is Rigsby when the coroner in season four is killed at the blind lady's house? However, Rigsby is around when Red John is online spying on CBI, but I think it was just one of Red Rigsby's minion.
One has to think that Patrick went to CBI for a reason after his family was killed. Director Bertrand was not there yet, nor many others. Patrick was trying to follow a lead that ended at the CBI, from which he has been flushing Rigsby out from the beginning.
Rigsby is just too clean cut Utah to be anything but cultish and psycho killeresque.

I am in the theory side that CHO is red John, but I am not writing today to proove my theory.

I want to make a point:
the 2 more suspected guys in all bets on the world during the 6 seasons to be RJ were Kirkland and Partridge, and there are exactly the first 2 guys to be dead, killed.

With that, the writters are telling us: you are completely wrong, and we have manipulated you ( followers) with bad clues.

To finish the show, and to be the writters honored like Breaking Bad final by the followers and not destroyed like Lost happy ending :) the history has to make a final tricky ending.

that is all about in this show, like a magician: to move to attention to another side as it has been done with Brett P.

When ´´RJ´´ saved PJ from the copycats, it was clear the voice of Brett, so my assumption is that RJ did not save PJ that day.

At the end, this final is being day by day Epic, and I can imagine that the writters wants to finish with a big trick and also to answer all open questions, to aviod a massive criticism by the followers. After recent ending of worldwide famous series, I am sure they do not want to disapoint.

I have a theory which is somewhat left-of-field, but I think it is plausible. The gist of it is that no single person is Red John, but, rather, it/he is a group of people. Some of the justifications for this are as follows:

1.  Red John has access to multiple law enforcement departments. The most simple explanation for this is that different people step in when different departments are concerned.
2.  Red John seems to be brilliant in multiple disciplines, most notably computer science. 
3.  His individual features have never been corroborated by another person. Given, there are similarities between descriptions, but the people in the final list are also very similar.
4.  The Tyger Tyger conspiracy clearly involves multiple people.
5.  All of the final list of seven could so easily fit the bill, despite some being more appropriate than others.
6.  If multiple people commit the Red John murders, and are in one sense Red John, then this would leave open the possibility that there is another player, not on the list, and thus not expected by any viewers. Therefore. shock value would be increased.
7.  While many people expressly and fervently disavow the notion that anyone on the CBS team could be involved, it is suggested that any one of them could play some part (Cho - strong, silent and keeps his distance from the team (doesn't fit the bill in my opinion); Rigsby - comes across as a bumbling idiot, but this could be an act (possibility); Van Pelt - seems very intelligent, good with computers, more distant than Rigsby, but seems to have an intriguing fascination with Jane (a definite possibility)).
8.  Multiple people would more easily explain how Red John could have deduced the list of seven.

There may be more reasons why I think this, but I have just typed this off the top of my head. The main point is that it is not outside of the realm of possibility that this theory is correct, which would be more surprising.
