I think the "plausible" button should be the red one.

Does anyone remember the episode where they show RJ holding a cup of tea with his left hand? If you zoom in on his hand you can clearly see what looks like a wedding ring.

Only two of the suspects wear a wedding ring: Gale and Tom.
Though Bertram doesn't strike me as a killer type persona, I'm still suspicious about him.

Thomas was just down right creepy when he started hitting on Van Pelt and when the blond lady from the 6x03 episode walked by him, he looked at her with this strange grimace on his face. I don't know if it's just me, but whenever I see the sheriff, I just get the impression he's having the time of his life playing a dumb cup wearing a dumber costume.

Synopsys of 6x08 (Red John) :

Patrick Jane finally comes face-to-face with Red John, the serial killer he's tracked since the man murdered his wife and daughter . For 10 years, Jane has droggededly hunted his nemesis in his search for justice.

So... we'll finally know. Just 3 weekends. 

From the beginning i always thought Red John could be Brett Partridge, because of his voice and skills, etc. But now that he is dead (confirmed by Heller and Plotnick), i guess Red John could possibly be McAllister, im just still curious about Kirkland's Brother, after all Bob Kirkland's voice is very alike RJ's voice on the phone. 

Truth is, none of us have the ideia of who could be RJ right now, Heller finally confused everyone hahahahahaha...

In my previous post I stated that I believe Haffner or McAllister are Red John and I went with Haffner. But now I have to adjust that to McAllister. So here is my summary again:

So yes, I now firmly believe McAllister is Red John. Same reasoning as stated above.
