The number Jane used to reach Sheriff McAllister is (707) 555 - 0163. The four last numbers may be a reference to Uncial 0163, the greek manuscript of the New Testament of The Bible, more specifically to a small part of the sixteenth chapter of the Book of Revelation (16:17-21). I think this is one of Heller's hidden clues. Let's take a look at it.

"And the seventh angel
poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the
temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done."

Now that might lead you guys to believe that Stiles is the one being spotted here, because of the vial and stuff, but if we read carefully this particular chapter we'll find reference to seven angels (which I think Heller is using as a metaphor to the seven suspects).
And who might be this seventh angel? The last and ultimate one?

Well, let's take a look at the order of the suspects as they are read by Lorelei Martins:

1. Bret Stiles
2. Gale Bertram
3. Ray Haffner
4. Reede Smith
5. Bob Kirkland
6. Sheriff McAllister
7. Brett Partridge

Yes, he is the seventh suspect, the seventh angel. He is Red John.

(PS: the third angel from the Revelations book turns his vial upon the seas, making the water turn into blood. So Haffner is still a possibile suspect, IMO).

Awesome episode, so 3 of them have tattoos, i expected that, , is logic to think they are all in the TT mafia, all three of them are Law inforcement, but all we know is that someone on the TT mafia hired the PI, and killed the PI, was it RJ himself? Was it a TT mafia Killing with no RJ involvement?
The other two suspects, who dont bare the tattoo, are also a part of a different outfit, Visualize.

Now the questions:

Why would RJ hire a PI, when in the pass he had the info available to him with out bugging the team?
Why would he risk killing the PI himself?
Why stray so far from his Killing MO? No stun gun (very femenine weapon i may add), incapacitatting the victim with out a fight, no risk of the victim taking a good look to any kind of marks you may bare
Why let her live long enough to speak? , he could have kill her slitting her throat

SOMETHING IS OFF, WAY OFF PEOPLE , I REALLY DONT KNOW WHO RJ IS BUT EVEN IF HE KNOWS PJ IS GETTING CLOSE HE WOULD´NT CHANGE FROM A GENIUS TO A PETTY THUG, I AM VOTING NO ONE IN PJ HOUSE IS RJ, INVOLVED MAY BE, PART OF TT, DEFINITLY BUT NOT RJ

PS: CAN SOMEONE POST A LINK TO HE 06X07 PROMO PLEASE!

THANKS FOR READING

Some observations (I have not firm suspect albeit Bertram is my favorite, with Partridge as a far out dark horse):

1) It looks like Stiles had a tattoo removed from his shoulder. That could mean that he has been a member of the "three dot" /Tyger conspiracy, but isn't any longer.

2) Also, I'm not sure that the shot heard is from PJ's shotgun. It could have been from a pistol/handgun. Furthermore, it doesn't make sence for PJ to start shooting without any further questioning.

3) The voice saying "Wait, no" sounds like Bertram to me, but I'm not sure.

4) IMDB lists Bertram as being in the next episode (S6E7). However, that could be a flashback, although I personally don't think so (I have no evidence to support this). http://thementalist.wikia.com lists Smith in addition.

I think its Ray Haffner because out of him and Bret stiles hes more plauseible.

It cant be the other 3 because they are part of tyger tyger and i dont think red john is to arrogant to mark himself with the same mark as his followers.
