NOT ACTUALLY BOB KIRKLAND...HIS TWIN BROTHER MICHAEL!

I believe that Red John is Michael Kirkland.

He is only believed to be dead. He was a 'wild child', Bob tried to help him out, but didn't succeed. He was the victim of an abusive father which would tend to suggest he was not mentally stable and was exposed to violence at a very young age. 

I believe he joined visualize where he would have worked on the visualize farm, taking Acid etc this is where he started his killings.

In one of the more recent episodes, Bob Kirkland asked "do you recognize me" to Haibach..which I think is a clue from the writers.

Finally, it makes sense that Patrick wouldn't recognize Michael as another person he shook hands with, because he would have thought it was Bob Kirkland.

Before even starting, I am a huge Partridge fan, so maybe I won't be much objective. Either way, I think there is something in here that deserves a thought.

I think this whole investigation happening after 6x02 is all about the Tyger-Tyger corrupted group (TT). Jane is investigating this and making everyone believe he is chasing Red John, so he can continue his private hunting of RJ.

I believe Partridge said "TT" before he passed away to give a clue about this secret organization. Either because he was killed by TT, either because he faked his death, he is Red John and he is against TT -and he wanted Jane to focus in investigating TT-.

I think the role Red John has been playing in the show is now going to be played by TT: the enemy to be defeated. That is way the writers will introduce the new story at 6x07 (Red dragon -multiple headed dragon by Blake-) and end the previous one at 6x08 (so we will keep on watching the show).

Only Kirkland connected TT with Red John, but I do not think this is the case. Reede did not mention Red John when he told Kirkland about the organization. The 3 current main suspects were discussing something together when Jane walked into Bertram's office. Why if some if them was Red John were they going to be talking about Red John himself? Makes no sense to me.

Why I think Partidge is Red John? A lot have been said about that already: "Red John enters here" sounds too much like not just a coincidence on the pilot to me. The pidgeon flying away in 6x01. They never talked about Partidge's corpse (they talked about Kirkland's death instead).

If Jane is not chasing Red John at the moment, it is because he is sure who Red John is. If all the show at his house was about TT, none of the 5 suspects are Red John. Kirkland I believe is death after the multiple bullets! So only Partidge remains.
