So when BH said that RJ is ON THAT LIST he wouldn't be entirely wrong.
Partridge is dead. McCallister, Bertram and Reed are just minions of RJ, Haffner obviously is not. Brett Stiles I think still could be.
But I would put my money on Michael Kirkland.

So here's a theory,
Jason Cooper is Red John, biggest hunch was his voice and behaviour. He appears in three episodes: - The Red Tattoo,The Red Barn, and His Thoughts Were Red Thoughts...looking super suspicious in them all. If he is Red John, the production crew has done an awesome job sneaking him into the show without a grand entrance.
Did someone noticed this? I'm watching all the episodes since the start. In the end of the episode 3-16 (makes me think about the Bible, John 3:16, coincidence?) Bertram quotes William Blake : When thy little heart doth wake,Then the dreadful night shall break
It's Cradle Song. Beginning of the poem :

In episode 2-23, RJ quotes The Tyger :

I kept wondering who killed the spy-woman, and while focusing on the three dots, I just forgot about Cho's question to her. He asks: is he visualize? She says yes.
Bertram, McAllister and Smith are not visualize.
Haffner and Stiles don't possess the tattoo.
So maybe it was Jason Cooper, though Jane believes the man when he denies having the CBI bugged. But it's not unlikely that Stiles wanted to have a man of his own inside Tyger Tyger. That man is not Haffner. Could the attractive spy-woman have slept with someone like Cooper?
And apart from that: is Tyger Tyger chasing Red John, or protecting him? If they're chasing him, why are they acting so aggresive all over, especially Smith?
I think we're all looking at this in such a simple way. Nobody knows who Red John is so why would he have to be one person. Nobody said he was one person so maybe he is a name of an idea. 3 people have the 3 dot tattoo which could symbolize the 3 of them that make up Red John.
Between the 3 of them they can have a solid alibi no matter which one of them is committing a Red John related crime.
I think the reason he only made one shot is because out of the 3 of them only 1 could have killed his wife. The other 2 would probably be left tied up to burn in the explosion.
