I'm wondering if bertram fits as "he is mar" - looking at the m again it could be read as an attempt at a b. my only concern is how he smells of pine, nails and earth (which sounds more like mcalister)

I'm disappointed that it looks like Red John is actually on the list of 7 and will be revealed only 8 episodes into the season . . . then the show is gonna jump 2 years into the future ?? There has gotta be more to this than it seems I just hope it's killer and that this season doesn't tailspin like Heroes or LOST and ruin the series as a whole
I was convinced since end of season 5 that it was McAlister, now I know it is HAFFNER. Next weeks promo has a young kid portraying Haffner in his youth. I think that is a giveaway that he is RedJohn.
For 3 years now, I have been convinced that Brett Partridge was RJ. Nothing anyone could say would have changed my mind. Partridge dying didn't even change my mind. Then I went and rewatched last season and everything started changing my mind. Last season, I knew Kirkland was a psychopath but couldn't bring myself to think he was RJ. It was too simple. Then the twin story was introduced and when I rewatched last season it started making sense. Things that Kirkland said started making sense. And here's my theory....
Kirkland said that he grew up in many places and considered himself from America. The statement didn't mean much at the time. Then this season we find out that he had a twin and his mother killed herself and his dad was a drunk.
Then there is the comment by Lorieli....."I'm surprised that the two of you didn't become life long friends when you first shook hands." Life long friends emplies that they met when they were young, not in recent years.
Bob and Michael also grew up in the carnival world. Maybe they were tiger trainers. Their mom may have even killed herself because of something Patrick or his dad said or did. We know that Patrick recognized Kirkland but wasn't sure from where. It's because they met when they were young. In the first season, a twin was killed that was connected to a RJ follower's son.
I have read that the next two episodes will involve Patricks past life in the carnival. This is why.
I don't know if the killer is Bob or Michael because I think that both of them have been introduced into the show as Bob so I'm not sure which one died.
When you follow the clues without your Partridge blinders on, they all fit just as well as they did for Partridge. So here I am, two weeks from the big reveal and I'm changing my mind to one of the Kirkland brothers.
Season 1*16 at 39:45 ....
He appears driving a car that looks a lottttttttt like RJ's car. Plus he came out of nowhere like he was waiting in his car in the parking place. He sees Dan holding a gun and looks at him in a strange way and just continue driving. Maybe he told Lisbon to come and help the blind Jane and Van Pelt. Idnk.
Plus from reading a spoiler that was posted here a few hours ago :
"He desperately wants a relationship with jane to the point where he exposes himself and puts himself in jeopardy" (Simon about Red John)"…Baker, known for his wit, charm and heartthrob puss, is an actor of considerable depth and passion. And the moment of death itself with Jane straddling Red John, and looking directly into the eyes of his prey is one of shocking intimacy." Simon Baker: "It’s almost like a love scene, as perverse as that sounds. ….There is no human act more intimate—not even sex—than killing another human being and watching him die." Whoa." Well when I read it I only thought of Ron coz I sense in his looks to Jane and Lisbon some of that..Like he wants to be close to them. Maybe that's why he didn't hurt Lisbon (if he was RJ I mean) coz he felt the bond between Jane and Lisbon and secretly wants some of that.
and in season 2*08 when Rebbeca was poisoned and Some of RJ's body appeared (his back side and some of his hair) his figure wasn't much like Partridge (who's my num 1 guess) who's a little bit skinny, but it's much like Ron's figure plus the hair color was close too.
Plus Ron moves a lot without getting people's attention a lot. That's why no one noticed him maybe.
Well I hope that wasn't too long.
Thanx for reading!
I can't wait to know. :)
So Partridge is still leading the race as most likely to be RJ. Several people are in agreement that Stiles is Partridges' father also. Okay, let's say this is true. So this mean that more than likely Partridge was raised in the Visualize compound or with his father within the 'family'. We know that Jane will be visiting his past (carnival life) during the Great Red Dragon and Red John episodes so how do you think these two events come into play together? I'm stumped. I can't think how Jane's earlier life would've impacted Partridge.----------- Does anyone know if Stiles ever talked about a wife? A former wife? A former dead wife? Hmmmmmm??????
Let us solve this riddle for the identity of Red John - from http://californiabureauofinvestigation.com/:
