I really hope we'll get an explanation for the writing on the wall. A lot of people seem to think it's "he is marked". I don't think so. It seems very strange that a dying man would write that on the wall instead of just 'tattoo' for example. And anyway, how would he have seen it? Was Red John killing him in a sleeveless top? lol

The only reasonable explanation for me would be "he is marshal" which is something like a sheriff if I'm not wrong? He was obviously wearing his uniform and because the guy didn't know his name, he didn't know what else to write..

I think it's much more believable than "he is marked". That wouldn't be a big help, people can be marked in different ways.

Hi,

I just want to share some random hints, which can exclude one suspect ;).

1.) conspiracy

In episode 6.02 three of the suspects were talking in the office of Bertram about something. Bertram said it's about drug related crime. The three were: Reede Smith, McAlister and Bertram himself. This three persons are also the suspects with a three-dot tatoo.

2.) Rosalind Karker is a red herring

Why is Patrick Jane not gather the suspects, invites Rosalind and let her identify him? He knows, that she is not reliable. I would assume her as a deciple, thus excluding her hints. Thus, the theories based on this hints should be thought over ;).

3.) McAllister is out

As you know, Red John seems to have some phobia. It's not necessarly acrophobia, but some phobia ;). In the show it is pointed out, that McAllister has ornithophobie (phobia of birds), or at least pidgeons only. In episode 6.01 Red John kills Partridge and attacked Lisbon. However, in this spooky house pidgeons were in the room Partridge was killed and "discarded".

So, in my opinion McAllister is out as Red John.

Just some thoughts an observations. I would appreciate your comments.

ps: I'm not a native speaker. I hope my english is understandable.

Theory #9833 • By Guilherme
Show this theory

The key to know maybe is this verse:
"Tyger, Tyger, burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?" (tiger, tiger 2 times and symmetry you can find in twins) Red Jhon is the twin brother (same voice) of Brett Partridge?

Reed Smith shot Kirkland seven times. Rigsby said he was shot six times. The show is not flawless after all. At this point I just hope it's not Smith.

This is a short theory (nothing to do with Pj being Rj).

What if somehow, Patrick Jane knew that Rj was going to blow up his house (if what Rigsby says in the EP07 trailer is true). He purposely put the 3 people with the 3 dot tattoo against the wall, knowing who they were, so they would be killed? Pj may just be baiting Rj into thinking he's got him where he wants him, when actually it's the opposite?

There is also a big reason this may be wrong also. If Bertram does die, it would be HUGE news. The CEO of the CBI dying would be big on the news. If he does die, he would need to be replaced. That's where I am thinking LaRoche will make his big comeback.

Why Lisbon was starring at he room with the sink in episode "The Desert Rose-s06E01"...?
Well, when Lisbon enters the main room, after the pigeons thing, the door to the room with the sink was closed, then she saw Brett and tried to help him, and when the camera showed the door again, it was open, that's because RJ got out and opened the door while she was helping Brett, RJ hide behind the door while she was assisting Brett, than she looked to the door, realized it was open, and she looked inside because she was thinking, "shit..the door was closed before, I'm not alone.." but it was too late, RJ pushed her then...
And that is also how we know someone else was there, besides Brett and Lisbon..

Also, Heller told us that there was a clue at the end of that episode, I think the only possible clues are:

a) I paused the TV when it showed The GPS position of all suspects and it showed all the suspect positions before and after the anonymous phone call (probably made by RJ), Haffner, sheriff and Reed phones were moving, only Bertram, Kirkland and Stiles phones were stopped. And Kirkland was too far way and he is dead, Stiles is dying so, the only viable suspect phone that was not moving was Bertram phone. We also know that when Lisbon arrived, RJ was there, so I guess RJ phone shouldn't be moving.

b) the 666 number on the wall -> the 666 theorie that points to Bertram

c) the pigeons on the room that scared Lisbon, if RJ was the sheriff the pigeons might have scared him and that would be the reason why he didn't kill Lisbon (not betting on this one)

CONTAINS SPOILERS about RJ meeting PJ!

I read in the TV Guide that PJ kills RJ in a park.  Remember the pigeon scene in the park after learning
of Sophie’s death?  Like it was some sort
of clue, as were the pigeons present at Partridge’s death and in the bell tower.  If RJ hates pigeons to the point of fear and
Jane figures this out, perhaps Jane meets RJ in a park --where there’s sure to
be pigeons-- to have an upper hand.
