Brett Partridge fakes his death but before dying utters "Tiger, Tiger" as the first fake clue to throw Jane off the right track. He pulls distracts Lisbon with a door opening trick and then pulls her from underneath with the intention of knocking her out. He then gets his corrupted disciples in the work force to carry out a dead body which isn't his knowing that Jane would be too distracted caring for Lisbon then to check the sites for clues that the death was a fake.  Brett Partridge then hires an amateur lady to bug the office and when she fails as expected he goes over to her house with the three-dotted tattoo on his left shoulder purposely revealed and fatally wounds her but doesn't slit her throat so that she can tell Patrick Jane that the killer (he suspects to be Red John) is a member of Tiger, Tiger (when really his isn't). Brett Partridge knows Patrick Jane will want to group everyone into a room to reveal their tattoos and then once that happens he can blow them all up at the same time and be rid of them which is what his plans were as stated in the promo for the next episode.

With the amount of hype leading into this, is anyone else afraid this whole RJ finale/reveal is going to be anti-climactic? (In other words, suck?) I have really gotten into this show in the last few years and the whole Moriarty-esque RJ storyline. I really hope they have done it justice and don't pull some canned Deus ex machina b.s. Keeping my fingers crossed we get a proper RJ finale! (Because if we get Bobby Ewing in the shower, I'm boycotting CBS!!) :)

I'm sure that 3 dots tattoo meaning is "Planet Mars and it's two moons". It leads to "Ellis Mars and his friends" aka RJ and TT conspiracy.

I think Partridge really is dead.  The reason he is dead is that he was RJ's forensic guy!  He examined every crime scene to remove any evidence that would lead back to Red John.  That's why we see him at every RJ murder scene, and that's why he was the first to be killed.  He knows all the evidence that would link Red John to his murders.  He knew waaaaayyyy too much.  Thus, he was the first to go.

Ultimately this will be RJ's undoing.  Partridge was kind of the brains of the operation.  He kept Red John two steps ahead of everyone.  Now that he's gone, RJ has started being careless and making mistakes, letting Kira Tinsely see his tattoo, not destroying Sophie Miller's voice recorded sessions.  Partridge would have totally figured that out and destroyed the tape.

Regardless of who you think RJ is, Partridge is the forensics guy.  It explains quite a lot.  I still say the Sheriff because he has indicated he's been a hunter most of his life and enjoys killing.  He's an intelligent man, but not the brains of the outfit, so without Partridge, he really shot himself in the foot!

Red John vs Tiger Tiger law enforcement Group (three dots mark).

My theory is that the Tiger Tiger group is an secret unofficial law enforcement group, key members have the three dots shoulder tattoo. They are enemies on Red John, and I'm pretty sure PJ's alter ego is Red John, with Stiles and his cult involved somehow and maybe even Van Pelt.

Red John is trying too find and kill key members of the Tiger Tiger group, while the are trying to find Red John.
'Nice'Patrick Jane is so far an asset for both tiger tiger group and Red John AKA evil Patrick Jane alike.

All clues and behavior of all characters seems to build up that Red john is not leader of Tiger Tiger group but there adversary,

Question: have we seen both Rigsby and Cho without there shirt on? Can it be confirmed that they do not have the three mark tattoo. If Rigsby had it Van Pelt would know, but what about Cho?

Guys its simple, ask yourself this question:

Do you believe Partridge is dead?

Look at all the clues and look closely at his death scene. If you believe he isn't dead, then he is 100% red john, if you believe he is dead, then someone else is red john

Its that simple
