I'm sure that in the episodes where we heard RJ's voice.... it was definitely that of Bob Kirkland. I totally recognised it. I know he's dead now, but I am certain it was his voice. I have voice recognition hearing! If it turns out that it is not Bob Kirkland, the show will have to explain why Bob Kirkland's voice was used for those lines.
The man Lisbon saw dying was not Brett, but his twin. So it fits perfectly.
Red John is your parents... I mean, seriously, RJ is BRUNO HELLER. RJ is not a sociopath killer, but a T-Shirt millionaire business man that faked all those deaths to sell more smiley-clothes. We'll see that in episode 8, when he unsuccessfully tries to sell Patrick some redjohnbranded jerseys.
By the way, Luther Wainwright also faked his death.
It is obvious that Patrick's wife and daughter faked their death. They are still alive with other identities to protect themselves from the real RJ, who doesn't know he didn't kill them indeed. Patrick actually has a twin brother who is RJ but hasn't still met him.
