Wondering what people's thoughts are on Brett Stiles dying right around the time when Patrick is set to discover exactly who Red John is? This is approx 2 weeks - 1 month as stated in season 6 episode 6....which is the exact time (2 weeks) that we get to find out who Mr. John is!!! Timeline lines seems eerily similar and you all know I love Stiles for somehow being very involved with RJ or at least knowing who he is. What do other people think of this? I know you all have some good ideas so post your ideas in the comments! Why is Stiles set to dye right when we find out who RJ is?!

Also while I'm on this ..  thank you for all your wonderful theories - I have enjoyed reading them all so much. Some of your evidence is so good I find myself getting swayed to a different character each time, although I really do believe RJ to be a cult or string of corrupt people working together and not just a singular entity, although someone is likely in charge and out to toy with Patrick all these years... I have really enjoyed reading everyone's theories!! I'm an elementary school educator and always intrigued with people's thoughts and ideas that come from pop culture, especially with such an engaging and intriguing show. Very cool theories people!

Sorry to disappoint folks, but I can tell you that if you think Red John is Brett Partridge or Walter Mashburn, guess what? You will be wrong.

I love all the theories, but again, trust this, neither Mashburn or Partridge is Red John.

One last time. Mashburn is not Red John. Partridge is not Red John. If you don't believe me, let's chat again after episode 8. I guarantee you though, after episode 8, you will not be telling me RJ is either of those two cats.

Red John is someone from the list (3rd paragraph) sorry imdb and mashburn
RJ and Jane will be face to face,1v1 no cops,anyone else than those two
Patrick would be a wanted man 2 years after so I think he killed RJ in 6x08 and hiding himself from cops

IMDB plzzzzzzzzzzz! any one cud have written that. Cant believe people are so stupid to accept every and anything.. I am a fan of walter but some one is playing the ass by messing with  the Mashburn fans . I think I am going to write  RJ  to every other  suspects  name. example  Patridge/ red john. come on mashburn fans let go to that IMDB site  and  redeem our  favourite suspect name . what your say> THIS MEANS WAR! we cant take that so easy . We must fight BACK! LETS GO!

The only possibility that it isn't anyone on the list is Jane.  It would make complete sense that he is crazy and is indeed Red John.  The story is told from his point of view.  Who says he is a reliable narrator?  Makes me think back to the Usual Suspects when we thought we knew where the story was headed.

I almost want to put Lisbon's Picture to the left. Lisbon is not RJ we all know this.  But, we have to rememeber that Lisbon and Walter have a relationship.  She spent a night with good old Mr. Walter.  She may have been told things,  seen things,  offered things?

Have we seen Lisbon's left shoulder lately?  If someone can get me a screen cap let me know.  Post the encounter.  

I digress.  Lisbon has been interested in Jane's room Jane's list and to the point where it doesn't seem genuinely helpful.

Also,  she seemed very concerned that Jane was going to get hurt by RJ like it was a trap.  Like she knew that none of the 5 in F&B were RJ.  She might have been lured into RJ but still might have a pang of guilt and care for Jane.  

However,  if Lisbon didn't know isn't it really funny that RJ not only killed Jane's family but also slept with Lisbon first. Sorry for the darkness of that just comical.
