If Partridge really isn't Red John, then it would mean that the creator of the show has been more successful with the character Partridge than with the real Red John (whoever it will turn out to be).
By the way, an anagram of the namne "Partridge" is "pig trader".
Hey Guys.

Ooh look...Now it appears that from the 7 suspects only Brett Partridge is off the "Red John" episode cast...

I'm kind of bummed out that the Mashburn thing on IMDB was a trick. It would have been a complete shock to me if it was him and it would fit so well in so many ways.
First and foremost the fact he slept with Lisbon shows just how persuasive and charming he is that even being a cop looking for RJ none of her instincts clued her in.
He posseses all the traits of narcissism you'd expect from the RJ character and he never hid any of those traits but instead flaunts them unlike characters like Haffner or Bertram who come across as morons or incompetents (obviously an act if RJ but still, it'd be nice if RJ DIDN'T hide who he was but instead was on fully display in plain sight)
"He is Mar" could be he is Mashburn (sort of, lol.)
He's been in the show since the 2nd season. It's too bad it's not him, lol!!
Lorelai Martin's sister was killed by Red John. Now, I question the integrity of Lorelai's testimony that Red JOhn has shaken Jane's hand. She did say that they would be 'good friends'. I understand her to have been respectful of Patrick Jane. If she worships Red John, she must think highly of Jane to think that those two could be 'good friends'. She said it, but she says that Red John thinks it. I believe she thought of it only because she liked Jane. Now, this is a clue to Red John's identity.
Jane is a leader, and Red John is a leader. Two leaders could 'bump' heads on issues. Jane is seen as independant, and Red John needs people to follow. Red John's freinds are afraid of him. Jane is unafraid. It is likely that the two would never be 'good friends'. In my opinion, Lorelai exposed the fact that Red John has an inferiority complex. I believe he lives in somebody's shadow. His success is underscored by the person he assists. I believe Red John could be Brett Stiles' assistant. Red John is looking for a way to move on, despite his feeling inferior to Brett Stiles. Plus, the murders that made Brett Stiles popular could have been orchestrated by Red John. Brett Stiles could have been framed for those murders, so the business gets taken over by the assistant. Red John might have used his contacts (in the FBI) to setup Brett Stiles for murder(s). It would explain how Brett Stiles could know about Kristina Frye's whereabouts.
I believe that Hafner was quitting his job to avoid confrontation with Tyger, Tyger. His new job is an honest man's attempt at dealing with hiding. If you were an FBI agent and you hid from a perp, you would feel depressed. Hafneroffers Lisbon a job, because he just wants to offer Lisbon the same comfort he is experienceing; while hiding. He fears Red John, and he wants to protect Lisbon. He knows that Red John has friends in the CBI. Hafner wants to avoid a "run-in" with Red John's friends, in the CBI. Hafner's "gut" is telling him that Tyger, Tyger is watching him. He wanted to look respectable, while running & hiding. He is keeping his composure. "Visualize" is helping him cope. I think about the type of person Red John must be and Hafner is far from it. However, his new boss looks more the part. Red John just might turn out to be Brett Stile's assistant.
OK, can we have a group discussion here. Mostly about Partridge and his death and mostly about the last scene of 6-1 and the first scene of 6-2....and the last scene of 6-2
So here is the last scene of 6-1
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mYSnFVipYA
Lisbon encounters birds...pigeons it seemed by the way they sounded...this has to connect. We see Partridge fall out of a closet. So he was bound and standing. He says Tyger/Tyger. Lisbon steps away about 5 feet, hears water dripping. She is facing Brett on the floor but then stares at that sink. Not sure if that is the clue but it's mysterious. She is then...I've watched it 50 times...snatched dead from behind. Now, being a rational thinker who likes to see all sides I can see how a Partridge Fan might think that once she turns to the sink, that gives him time to grab her. But I don't see how in that 3 seconds he gets on his feet, makes up 5-8 feet and grabs her. My theory is he is dead and that RJ was either in that closet too or in another part of the room. I can see how this leaves open Partridge for some...the way she was faced but then we get to.....
Episode 2, Scene 1

Guy says they have one male DOA, Partridge. So he is dead right? The reaction of Bertram leads me to believe that not only is Bertram not RJ but that his pause meant Partridge may have been a Tyger/Tyger associate on the fringe. BUT I just don't think you have all of these people show up at the scene and you take away a body and no one realizes he isn't dead. I know that RJ has people within all agencies helping but this would seem to involve way too many agencies and people to make it work. I also can understand how BP Fans would say that it was a ruse by the ME's office and others involved in the whole conspiracy.
I guess it just looks to me like he is dead but I can see how some would link all the other clues as to why he isn't. I would also find it strange that Jane wouldn't look for clues on the body of one of his suspects. In the next Scene in the hospital he tells Lisbon Partridge is dead...almost like he saw for himself.
Then to end show

They are sitting on a bench and Jane is transfixed by the guy feeding pigeons(a creepy person that looks like they are wearing a wig)...they are making the same noises. That has to connect above...not sure how though.
The more I review all of this the more I'm convinced they could spin RJ any way they want. I keep talking about pigeons, the is it acrophodia/agraphobia, the taser, is Partridge alive....overall they have set it up where almost all suspects have something in their drawer for you to dig through. Thomas being a name in the poem. It all seems like red herrings and I don't know where to go.
