Ok, so Lorelei Martins appears in next episode, alive. Lisbon foolishly thinks she's against Red John, when in fact she's still his accomplice.
And in episode 8, it's revealed Brett Partridge is revealed as Red John.

As much as I am addicted to this forum and as much as I like to play guessing/sorting out facts games I think that the show is written in such a manor that everyone of the 7 could be RJ.
There is nothing to figure out, because it can be anyone from the 7 or someone who is not on the list.
I mean that if we exclude Reede, who everyone seems to hate as being RJ, there are clues that can point to anyone and that was the creators intention. My personal opinion is that once RJ is revealled, there will be some past clues/hints that don't match. Think about it. If you don't take your personal favorite in consideration, how much of a surprise will it be if RJ is someone else other than your original guess.
I think they wrote the script so that everyone matches a good percent of RJ's profile and I am pretty sure that BH reads this forum and picked his favorite theory.
Personally I think that no-one can outsmart the fans, or write a script to the perfection. I will be glad if I am wrong.
P.S I love this show and am hooked as anyone on RJ conclusion. I'm just saying...
I still belive it to be Brett Partridge. Mainly because of my theory that he shows up on two and only two fake Red John murder scenes in the show, like he was trying to figure out who was copying him in which, kills the two school students who tied up Jane. I cant say how he would still be alive, but who else could have swiped Lisbon from behind?
Ok, so admitidly all of the suspects have majory creepiness levels, but being a creep does'nt necesserily mean your a serial killer. So who is Red John? I think Bertram is the Best candidate. Not only is he strange but he is also connected, a member of Tyger Tyger and (due to his possition) able to keep an eye on Jane and the Red John investigation. He also told Jane that he would be there when Jane caught Red John and low and behold when Jane shot and killed "Red John" who was there? None other then Gale Bertram.
P.S Bertram is great at whistling.
