Okay, so some don't think
it's Michael Kirkland who is Red John, but here's why I think he
is! Bob said to Jane that their Dad abused him, Bob and their Mum to the
point where she killed herself with razor blade.

Jane said Bob was the
stronger one, Michael found his mother's body, the trauma became to much for
him to face. Therefore, it caused him to have a break down and create his new
identity - Red John.  Bob said he met a man that could help him,
a saviour, now this could be Stiles that he met, or meant in the terms of his
new identity? This is how he became a member of Visualise

Obviously; Bob
thought it was "Red John" who said he could help him, but maybe not.
Is Bob telling Jane the whole truth, I sensed that he wasn't, he was to
calm and no emotion was shown on his face. So what if Michael was the one
that killed their mother? The first crying smiley? Bob could
be unaware of this, otherwise there would be no reason
to torture those on the fake list, or Bob could have come home to find
their Mum's body, but his brother wiped the smiley face off the wall
and claimed she killed herself?

Also, Michael may have
tried to slit his own throat, causing damage to his vocal
chords, hence the strange voice...this could have left him with a
scar....the writing on the wall He is mar...
Could mean: He is Marred
= Disfigured. So Michael at some point could have posed as his brother, Kirkland
bumped into Jane and said this when they first met:

Kirkland: “Sorry, Mister Jane.”

Jane: “Do I know you?”

Kirkland: No, but I know you.”



What if that was Michael he had a
lighter suit and a beard in all other episodes we've seen I think Bob has had a
darker suit no beard…!

The letter on the wall that Jane
finds after Red Jon kills Charlotte and Angela is addressed as:

Dear Mister Jane….!  

Also the picture on the list he
has a beard.

I know Bruno Heller has stated it's someone on the list, but
after all Bob was on the list, he didn't say who or that it would be one
of the remaining five. Michael could have stolen his
brother's identity to make Jane think it was Bob, and then Jane realized
it wasn't. Therefore, Jane thinks it's someone of the five that are left. But
it isn't it is still Kirkland, but Michael Kirkland!                             

I have different reasons to believe Kirkland is red john.
1) He fits the description made by Rosalind
2) He has around the age to be a 'young boy' by the mid 80s, when the incident in the barn took place
3) He enjoys the same orange drink Patrick does, we can see this in different chapters. Also, both Patrick and him had similar parents, who did not care about their child. I say this because throughout the seasons, we are told Patrick and Rj are very similar.
4) He has the powers and resources to commit the crimes he committed, and we see in season 6 he is capable of killing. Kirkland also suspects of a super secret organization.
5) He is creepy and suffered a trauma by loosing somebody he loved just like Patrick.
 Besides all of this, I am still not sure what to believe. Patrick says the list has now been reduced to 5 suspects since he was not one any more, though the twin story make everything more confusing. Also, I don not understand why he killed rj friend in the hospital, if he really wants to catch it.
All this are things confuse a lot, and though I am not sure, I believe its him.

  There is a twin out there , could be Kirkland still :) 

In the final scene when Reede was talking to Kirkland inside the prison van , did you notice that Krikland was hiding something inside his mouth , he even turned his face to the other side so that Reeded wouldn't see it.

I think that Kirkland left an important CLUE for Patrick inside his mouth , re-watch the scene guys and let me what you make of it,

Why Kirkland Killed Jason Lennon? I don´t understand. He could have some information....I dont know if it is because he didn´t want to Jane get some information from Jason earlier and he wanted to be the only one who reveal real identity of Red John and could kill him. But it doesnť make any sence for me.

Has any one any answer which could satisfy me?

I previously stated that Ray Haffner might be Red John but now I got a new Theory. I believe Bob Mirklands Brother MICHAEL is Red John. He had problems and ran off like Bob said but instead of finding Red John he actually found Brett Stiles and Visualize that took him in. In this new environment he became Red John.
That way it could still fit with the list of seven AND show us something new we don't expect^^
