THE THEORIES

Did anyone else notice during the episode "There will be blood", when Bertram is talking to Kirkland right after he comes from behind the door where he was listening, he says "clearly he/she knows more than she's saying". He actually says "he/she". Ok you hard core mentalistas, please check it out and let me know your opinion on this.

hi dear friends.
- Gale Bertram can't be red john. hell he event couldn't bluff in poker game.
- ray Hafner is visualize member. and red john is a man see himself above all of people so he couldn't be in a group like.
- but Bret stiles is a boss and has access all sort of things and has the potentially to be red john. and has so many people joined him in so many places. even FBI so he could be Red John.
---Bob Kirkland was after Patrick even in Patrick's first day work in CBI .he actually
made a woman call Gale Bertram and tell him about Patrick recently being
a mental patient .so he has the potentialy to be or work for red john.

and he steal Patrick's board to extract the names of suspects so he can
interest Patrick and specially us

he access to all sort of thing but he keep his distance from Patrick. that's the only wrong and weird thing about him.

I think that Red John is somehow related to Van Pelt.
My guess is that Red John is Van Pelts brother. Van Pelt has never said that she has no siblings so it's possible and Van Pelt doesn't really like to talk about her family. I think her brother did something bad (to her or someone else) and she doesn't want to think about him anymore. If my theory is true Red John must be someone who Van Pelt has just heard mentioned and never actually seen or who she has seen only a glipse of so she couldn't reconise him. He has brobably changed his name so he couldn't be so easilly reconised.
In the episode 2/10, Throwing Fire, Van Pelt tells Rigsby she has no sister but at the same time she looks a little awkward like she was uncomfortable with the subject. There is definately something about her family that she doesn't want to talk about. I'm not sure if Van Pelt knows or suspects this somebody she knows (who ever it is) to be Red John, but I just think that Red John is somehow connected to Van Pelt weather she knows it or not.
And Van Pelt has red hair and red is always a bad thing in Mentalist :D

Sorry, after reading my rant I forgot to mention that I believe kirklands mother died or killed by him then he went with his father brett stiles to visualize or maybe stiles killed the mother. anyway please just look at the suspect picture of Kirkland and please tell me it doesn't look like the painted face!!!!  Brett Stiles is trying to protect his son, but like most parents you can only do so much and I finally believe that Stiles will kill his son, not jane.  I think he will be there at the end just when Kirkland is going to kill either or both jane and Lisbon and brett discusses the trial and tribulations of Kirklands wrong doings based on his mothers death and then just before he kills them, stiles kills Kirkland.  show over, everyone happy :)

Hi Guys and Girls, or should I just say fellow conspiracy theorists.

I love reading all the theories because I think bits and pieces of them lead right to the killer.
I think Brett Stiles has a part in this, and I believe the theory that he is the father of RJ.  I think Bret Partridge will be a most important part of the ending but not to what some think.  Ok, this is my theory based on what I have watched and what I have read from some very astute members of this blog, I feel that RJ is Kirkland for various reasons, one, being obvious is a great way of hiding the truth.  What I mean is most shows especially this one lead you to chase the least plausible suspect, hence Bret Partridge.  Kirkland killed Jason Lennon without asking him the most important question of all "who is RJ"?  Why? Also, Kirkland's team is the only ones present at the Lorilie Martins murder and Jane never checks the body and Partridge isn't at the scene either, don't you find that suspicious? Plus Martins eye isn't swollen or her arm isn't bandaged and there isn't even a sign that she was shot.  Maybe just a pas faux?  Another thing is Jane never locked his little hideout and the show specifically keyed on the lock as Jane left.  The voice you hear I believe is Bret Partridge because I feel he is a RJ puppet and if you listen to the voice close enough on the season 6 promo it is definitely his but I think what will happen is that RJ has Lisbon and makes Partridge call Jane, then kills partridge.  I suspect RJ either tricked Sofie Miller or she somehow is involved in spilling the beans on Janes happy memory, or maybe RJ just broke in and stole her notes.  Kirkland is creepy and if you look at him in the scenes his face closely resembles the happy face RJ paints.  Kirkland is the right age and very clever and Jane did set him up when he broke in and stole the work Jane did on his wall.   The only thing left that ties everything together would be that Lorilie isn't dead.  I don't believe RJ is someone that reads minds but I do believe that he traveled with the carnival during the time with the Janes because when he spoke to Lisbon he stated he travelled with his father first then his mother and he likes to think he was born in America, which would open the theory to his association with Patrick somehow and maybe that's when he saw the happy memory. Partridge is a "red herring" Kirkland has a friend in the FBI we found that out in Red Dawn, Partridge doesn't, at least as far as we know.  BTW, when Lorilie stated that he couldn't believe that Jane and RJ didn't become friends the minute they met, made me think, who could be friends with Partridge?  Not me!  One last thought is when Jane downsized his list he excluded people that he shook hands with but never saw again, why wasn't the sheriff excluded?  puzzling!  He is definitely scratched, the fbi agent he is just a schmuck, Bertram is I think considered a friend or ally to jane along with stiles, although I do believe stiles hypnotizes people for RJ like cristina frye and maybe vanpelt and possibly the blind chick. haffner is another follower not a leader so scratch him too.  Leaves only Kirkland and Stiles father and son!!!

This is a theory that I have been working on, it can explain in a logical way how Red John knew who would be on the list of seven suspects that Patrick Jane has created.

Since Red John has been following Patrick Jane for a long time now, it is clear that Red John could come up with a list of people that Jane has shaken hands with. After he captured Lorelei he made a video recording of her saying all of these names, so not just the 7, but ALL the names. Then he had someone break into Jane's lair and copy all of the Red John evidence that was lying around. Based on this intel he used the same skills that Patrick used and arrived at the list of seven suspects. He then edited the Lorelei video to make it appear as if she only said the seven names that where on the list.

If this theory would be proven correct then we can also assume that Kirkland is either working with/for Red John or that he is in fact Red John himself. Let me know what you think.
