THE THEORIES

Did anyone notice this fact ?
*When Teresa Lisbon came near the house the house blasted.
So it appears that Red John didn't want Teresa to get hurt so he blasted the house before she went in there.

*When all the others are inside the house no one would know who is approaching or what is going on outside the house. Conclusion : who ever made this bomb blast was outside and was watching whats going on.

*Then , facts from various interviews from "The Mentalist" crew reviled that it was RJ who made the blast.
So think about it. RJ is not someone who was inside the house when the BLAST occured.

*I still believe that Partridge is alive and his death was fake. And after considering all the facts available i still believe "Partridge" is Red John.

Am I really supposed to believe that Red John bombed Patrick's house? The time between Patrick's gunshot and the bomb being set off is quite long (How long... I do not know). Then Teresa co-incidentally arrives on the scene. And Bertram and Reede conveniently escape, and the other 3 people are dead- blown to bits. And through all this, Patrick is almost fine and kicking in the next episode?... That would be worse writing than a very essential "fake death."

And I'm supposed to believe Gale Bertram is Red John, as Patrick announces next episode to the media. And I'm supposed to believe Reede Smith, who is caught next episode, is RJ's friend, so he spared him in the bomb blast? Yet he decides its fun to blow up Bret Stiles, the leader of the source of his followers. Heck, I'm supposed to believe Bret Stiles, McAllister and Haffner are even dead?

If Bertram is RJ, who the hell is he calling in fire and brimstone?

I'm supposed to believe, the "educated" brother Robert Kirkland, can't read? "Agent Lisbawn," seriously? And that Robert Kirkland is capable of forgetting all about Tyger Tyger and gains a beer belly in max 3 days in prison before Smith shoots him? And that Robert who tortures people for information on Red John, suddenly kills Jason lennon and calls him a friend?

Am I really "reaching" when I say Reede Smith shot Michael Kirkland?

Am I really "reaching" when I say Bertram, Smith and McAllister are good guys on the inside of Tyger Tyger- the subject of their meeting was "a clean up" and "tracking the arrests"? Law enforcement clean up? Am I reaching when I say Robert Kirkland and Gale Bertram are having a conversation after Patrick invites him to his house.

With all the clues, initially I thought it was Ray Haffner doing the killing, until I slowed episode 2x08 down when RJ kills two people.

Whose face does this look like? (I'd say somebody has posted this before, apologies if so, first time I'm seeing it)

Alright guys, mirzaanil posted a painting by William Blake named 'The Great Red Dragon', here's the link -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Great_Red_Dragon_Paintings

As you all well know William Blake is a promininent element of the story because of:

- His poem 'Tyger tyger'
- His painting 'A Brace of Partridge'

Now one of the Great Red Dragon paintings particularly drew my attention:

Look at the dragon's tail, it draws three loops. Does it remind you of anything? Three dots, growing bigger from left to right. That's right folks, exactly the same as the tattoos.

Any thoughts? Do you think this has got anything to do with the story?

THIS COINTAINS SPOILERS
I was watching episode 1 from season six again, and I noticed that the part where Patrick and Partridge were looking  each other in the eyes was damn intense. I don't remember Patrick doing the same with the other suspects. Was it a test? Does it mean that Patrick excluded him from the list or that he got something new?
Does this put Brett Partridge at the top or at the bottom of the list?
Lisbon didn't ask Patrick what he thinks of Partridge, that is weird, because they showed us them having a conversation about Bertram. That was the last time Partridge and Jane met.
We know that in episode 8 Red John and Patrick will do a similar thing, but probably for longer.
Do you guys think there is a connection between the two "staring into eachother's eyes" episodes?

Ok this is not really a theory but just something that kind of grabbed my attention and also i have not seen any posts of this, in season 6 episode 1 when Lisbon enter the house we see the 666 written on the wall, as we all know episode 7's title is "The great red Dragon" Ref made to the book of revelations. Now what if the 3 dotted tattoo was the mark of the beast?

some clues that Heller included dont really help us much like for example Red john is a good whisler, he has a phobia that not really much to go by.

Do you guys think this show can survive after Red John is caught? Because I don't think the fans are crazy about this ridiculous tyger tyger organisation storyline..

If they don't introduce a new exciting serial killer, I don't think the show can carry on with the everyday murder cases..Those are not fascinating enough..There needs to be something else in the background, but not the tyger tyger crap..:)

I'm scared the show will be cancelled after this season..:(
