Perhaps the clue of the pidgeons is easier then expected.
The shot of the pidgeons show that 6 pidgeons are sitting on in the room yet 1 flew out and away. Maybe Brett staged his own death in order to "escape" from the list of suspects, thus resembling "the one that got away".

Hey...

....after the last Episode i think that nobody of the remaining five suspects is Red John.
I think Bret Stiles is the only one who knows the real identity of Red John and therefore he
was so surprised, when Patrick said: "And one of you is Red John". When Patrick finished this sentence, Styles was the first one who reacted and said: "One of us is Red John"???

Why??
Because he knows Red John isn't in the room!!!
Maybe he also want's Patrick to catch Red John and therefore he wanted to prevent him from Shooting Mc Allister, so he could go on for the hunt...and not being arrested!

Bruno Heller said that we can trust the list.
That leaves us with two suspects!
Bob Kirkland is dead, that's for sure....we saw when he got shot!

Now...where disappeared the Body of Partridge! We never heard anything!
Heller said after the reveal we will be disapointed. He also said Red John was there from the beginning!
The only one who was there from the first Episode was Brett Partridge!
And the main reason why i believe it's Partridge, is the Voice!
In Season 2 Finale and in Episode 1, Season 6(on the phone: "sorry Patrick, Teresa can't come to the phone right now) it was the voice of Jack Plotnick(Brett Partidge). I'm sure about this.

This is just my theory, but I think "Brett Patridge" was an Alias and he will return as
RED JOHN!!!

If Red John is Reede Smith, I'm never going to watch anything by Bruno Heller again!.
It would be an absolutely ridiculous, pathetic, rubbish ending to the Red John storyline!
This random stranger only appeared first in season 5! Even us, fans, have much better imagination than this! We could have written a much better, exciting ending if that loser is really Red John!! I'm going to be furious!

Isn't it possible that Jack Plotnick (Brett Partridge) wasn't told that his character would end up as Red John? And this is why , during the interview, he believed his character was dead and never coming back?

Robin Tunney said in an interview that she was kept in the dark as to Red John identity until last episode..

Just for the Partridge back from the dead crowd since the TV Guide interview said some things.. A writer did interview the actor and he claims his character is really dead

I'm sorry to reveal it, but we will never actually get to see Pj killing Rj, because Red John is already dead.

Brett Partridge was Red John, and he was killed by the Tyger Tyger conspiracy, hence why his last words to Lisbon were "tyger tyger". This is the important clue Heller was talking about.

The Tyger Tyger conspiracy pretends that Red John is still alive, and that's why "they" called Pj after the murder of Brett Partridge. Brett's killer (whom is part of the Tyger Tyger conspiracy) was a former associate of Red John.

The TT conspiracy have committed murders under the name of "Red John" before, but the one who killed Pj's family was Brett Partridge. He was the original Red John, the one who killed multiple women before the murder of Pj's family.

Some people may think that Brett Partridge is too young due to his looks, but his character is actually played by Jake Plotnick who is 45 years old (born 1968). If we assume Brett Partridge is about the same age, he would have been about 20 years old when committing his first murder (at the Visualize barn). This also explains Rj's connection with Visualize, and Bret Stiles extensive knowledge about Rj.

The murder of the private investigator was carried out by the TT conspiracy, not Red John.
Hence the sloppy work and the reveal of the three-dotted tattoo.

McAllister's blurt out "it's not what you think" in the latest episode pretty much means that he wasn't involved in the murder of Pj's family. In fact, noone of them have anything personal against Pj, and noone of them were involved in the murder. Everyone in that room is guilty of something though, the Visualize members for keeping Red John's identity a secret since the barn murder.

I might have missed out on some information but don't fear, it will all be explained in the upcomming episodes ( ¦ ))

I know many of you think Partridge is pathetic and creepy so you think he cannot be Red John.

But now we know Red John wants a relationship with Jane so much, he exposes himself to Jane allowing Jane to chase him down and kill him in broad daylight. Together alone in a scenic park, the saga ends as Jane slowly watches the life drain from Red John's eyes.

If that isn't pathetic and creepy on RJ's half, then we are all Britney Spears.
