What actually happens in Patrick's house?


There is 1 gunshot fired, then a large period of time later: a Bomb Blast.

I firmly believe that the 1 gunshot fired kills the man who murdered Jane's family (not Red John). Patrick goes into the room where his family were murdered and stares intensely. It is very serious preparation, Patrick is riling himself up.

You learn:

-Bertram is a triple agent - a good guy! (read the theory to understand he is one of Robert Kirkland's men)

-Bertram knows Kirkland
-Bertram knows McAllister
-Bertram knows Smith

Proof they are all cops on the inside of the Tiger Tiger:-

1. Bruno Heller says Red John has bad intentions for some of those on the list.

2. Kirkland is not a retard. There is a missing coffee, as he has just met with Bertram again. He does not randomly choose a low-level agent to confide the Tiger Tiger message to. He asks Bertram "Can we trust her?" to Lisbon. Lisbon is the most honest cop there is. He sneaks up on Smith unsuspectingly though, noone told Smith that Kirkland knows he's undercover. Kirkland found out via Bertram over coffee. Anyway, Smith helps Kirkland stage his death when they're both on the same page. They make a big show in front of the van driver. 

3. It is no co-incidence 3 suspects, meet the day after Partridge is "dead". Bertram is still keen for Patrick to tell them when he's close to catching Red John. They’re all good guys.

4. Patrick reassures them he knows they're being watched. "I've always suspected this room was bugged... wired." 

5. Ok, when those 3 reveal their tattoos, they have this look on their face: First, it looks like Hate. But they're saying "You’re smart, you KNOW we're undercover- you better not shoot me!"

6. Patrick separates those 3 suspects. Then he shoots Ray Haffner, the man who murdered his wife and child, and painted a smiley on Lisbon's face. Haffner is not Red John.

7. Here comes the explanation : Ray Haffner is the Halloween Masked Man. 

Quote Brett Partridge: “He’s been laying low for years, working through friends and proxies.” 

-       When Halloween Masked Man saves PJ from the copycats, he shoots left-handed 
-       The way Ray Haffner walks, is the same as the Halloween masked man 
-       Halloween masked man paints Lisbon’s face taking care Brett Partridge uses the phone, while Haffner paints. 
-       Haffner is in Lisbon’s dream 
-       Halloween masked man pats Jane on the shoulder, the same way Haffner pats Cho after their talk
-       Ray Haffner looks like he was a football player, he won the “Heisman” trophy (Renfrew’s only clue) 
-       Surveillance expert- easily knows he was bugged + easily tracks down Jared Renfrew

Haffner is moving like a robot. Because he’s actually waiting before Brett Partridge speaks, before he can carry out an action. He waits for the voice to act on 3 occasions: 

-       He walks to the copycats. Cue Pause for voice. Then slashy time. 
-       He walks to Patrick’s chair. Cue voice. Then lifts it up
-       He leans into Patrick’s face for like 3 seconds before spitting out the first word of the poem. 

  8. Brett Partridge is Red John. Red John bombs the suspect’s meeting later, according to Rigsby. Bruno Heller did say it wasn’t a good list to be on.

9. By this time Patrick Jane has had plenty of time to question Bret Stiles. Patrick must know something. He is clearly uninjured from the bomb blast. 

-Patrick survives. 
-Haffner is dead already. 
-Bertram survives. -Smith survives.
-Red John’s bomb kills Sherriff McAllister.
-Bret Stiles was probably saved by Brett Partridge/dead

And now after 6x6 i'm trully sure:

Partridge is Red John... Because Red John wasn't at Jane's House at 6x6.

Gale, Smith and McAllister are tyger tygers and i think they're under Red Johns Orders or they against him... It's soon to tell.

Partridge ''died'' as i said before just to stay out of the spotlight.

If Jane is going to get away with murder again (still can't believe he did the first time, but I digress) when he finally kills the real Red John, what is the only way he can do that and get away clean (assuming he's not acquitted of murder again in some idiotic trial)?

Kill somebody who is already, officially dead and whose faked death could never be revealed because all the accomplices had the 3 dot tattoo?

When the producers of the Mentalist met, I'm sure there were worries about unveiling Partridge, this nerdy figure we think is a huge creep, as Redjohn.
 
I'm sure they asked "How do we make RJ a lot cooler than Partridge?"

This was the answer:

"Stick him in a SWAT suit for the big reveal. Everyone looks cool in SWAT uniform."

Red John was always the smartest one,so tell we why would such a person who has always been ahead of the Jane and CBI hire some unprofessional PI to bug the place...I always thought he has already done that in the past or at least he got his information from dirty cops now known as tyger tyger organization...my guess is that some member of the organization tried to bug the place because they are worried how much does Jane really know( This is the question Smith asked Bertram in Bertram´s office),also Haffner told Lisbon and Van Pelt that Jane pissed of some powerful people except Red John so he could also be referring to the organization...they are affraid Jane knows about them,they try to bug the place,kill the PI,she saw the three dots,there was no smiley at the scene...it just did not feel like Red John classic murder.

I know a lot of you will be annoyed of something that I will say right know but I will say it none the less. If you are Red John and you know you are one of 7 people what would you do,it is like Red John said to Patrick(until you catch me or I catch you)...first thing you would try do to is to get yourself off the list and that is what Red John has done...he faked his death and has been misleading Patrick ever since as always. Since the beginning we have been given some clues to make us think all the other suspects are suspicious,for instance...Betram saying I am many things to many people,hints that McAllister has a fear of heights later shown uncorrect,Haffner´s fear of the spiders,Smith saying to other agent You know how I am abouth heights hinting he has a phobia of heights,suddenly everyone is whistling(McAllister,Haffner,Smith and even know Bertram in his office after the talk with Jane and Lisbon and Stiles when coming to Jane´s house).

Also we were supposed to find out why was Partridge killed but I am not sure we got the explanation,all we know he said tyger tyger and later we find about the organization but why was he killed,Heller stated that his death was important and I don´t see how except he faked his death and is Red John actually. At least for Kirkland we know he was close to tracking the organization so he needed to be killed.

I really don´t know how Heller imagined all of this but don´t you think it would be a little lame if such a smart character as Red John is given away by a cheap tattoo and we find about it from some PI when he killed her in a rush making that big mistake showing her the tattoo and also not having the time for making his mark.

A lot of you say you are annoyed by the Partridge theories and find it stupid,but I don´t see that other theories are so much better. Bertram is a guy who needed Jane´s assistance in the poker and he doesn´t seem to have that much of inteligence,Thomas McAllister was in one episode before season 6 and he was presented as a complete fool in that episode and now he is suddenly some smart ass sheriff who has great deduction skills,Haffner was outsmarted by Jane in first episode of season 5,and Smith is we must admit almost everyone less favorite candidate for Red John considering the weight although I think he is a good character for this tyger tyger thinh. Only Stiles has the brains but seems to old and seems like willing to help Patrick.

Partridge maybe never shown the inteligence but also was never really outsmarted by Jane,yes he always got the Red John sightings wrong saying it was not Red John when it was him and saying it was Red John when it wasnt him but he could be doing this just to annoy Jane. He has the closest voice of all suspects to Red John. Also that scene in 2. season when Jane scares Partridge and then Red John scares Patrick when Patrick thought he already left,it just seemed so cool if it was really Partridge getting even.

You must admit that he is/was a really good suspect no matter what. We will see who Red John really is in about two weeks so by then...Cheers!
