This theory is all about looking the last six episodes from Jane's perspective.
1. Patrick Jane knows that there is no way he can catch Red John from the front and through any direct attempt as time and again red john has warned jane that he has still too much to lose. Jane has also failed twice in his attempts to catch him or lure him in directly. It is also established that there are powerful people directly or indirectly involved with jane and they will come in the way.
2. Red john has some leverage over Tyger Tyger and they do his dirty work on command. This way red john makes sure that any clue he has left is buried. Red john has a perfect person for this job, Bob kirkland's twin brother Michael kirkland. He is the one who killed Jason in the hospital, he was in the room with Gale Bertram in ep 516 when he asks bertram if they can trust lisbon. Jane, red john and michael kirkland has some carnival connection and that is how red john knows how to kill jane's happiest memory. There is no trick.
3. Red John obviously knows that CBI has placed GPS tracking on 7 suspects (so does jane). but why call lisbon while killing partridge? to make sure that jane knows red john has leverage over him. Also to make sure Jane buys his plot. Jane also makes sure that red john knows that he buys it. Red john is not that easy to fool. so he wants to be 100% sure.
4. Red john goes to shophie miller and plants some clues for jane. Jane makes it look like he buys it all. Lee carman thing was a hint from red john as that name is clearly related to Jane's past and triggers some memory.
5. There has to be someone inside jane's team who is directly or most probably indirectly feeding daily reports to red john. One thing was very clear from the start that Jane and red john are alike in so many ways, their deductive reasoning and observation skills. it is only natural that with the available data, jane and red john come to same conclusion and hence the matching 7 list. and lorlie martins may still be alive and it's piece of cake for michael kirkland with the help of tyger tyger. interesting thing is that Jane knows it somehow as we can almost see from his expression and words, "she had it coming" as he know that red john will never kill her, same way red john will never kill patrick.
6. Now it all comes down to a stage act (not very different from carnival trick). Two acts, one to make you believe and one to distract you. Jane and red john both are playing this game since the middle of season 5. Red john has to make sure Jane totally buys his game and Jane has to make sure he is no threat to red john. that's why red john confirms the 7 suspect list as he wants to be perfectly sure, without any possibility of doubt that jane is on his game.
7. Tyger Tyger is worried if jane figures out their involvement and Red john has made it clear that Jane is untouchable.
8. Red john is many persons as he is master of disguise. He is involved in tyger tyger as brett partridge. he was another person with rosalind. That is why rosalind's description is not that relevant because when red john was with her, he was a totally different person. Same thing is when he is meeting with sophie miller, he is a totally different person. Bret stiles knows his one true identity and he may be his adopted son. when all 5 suspects are sitting together in the room with jane, stiles has no unusual expression as if couldn't possible imagine them to be red john. macclister is full of fear when he says, "it's not what you think". he is clearly pointing to tyger tyger. bruno heller is right when he says, "partridge is dead".
9. When you want someone to play your game, you make sure rules don't apply to you. that's what red john did at the beginning, he takes himself out of the game. Jane is doing quite the opposite, he is in the game but he changed the rules when he made sure that partridge remains dead.
10. Tyger tyger is paranoid as they need to know what jane's game is. They also don't know what red john has in mind. They target lisbon's team for info and hire a detective possibly through Ray haffner to spy on cho. Red john knows it and it's the perfect piece for him to take care of jane and tyger tyger. he (or michael kirkland) disguises as tyger tyger operative and kill the spy while making sure jane gets it. Jane is playing the game with his rules and he makes sure everyone knows. While tyger tyger is curious, bret stiles and haffner aren't. Ray haffner is just caught in the middle of all. Bret stiles knows when tyger tyger knows. tyger tyger reaches out to red john and red john sends a note to stiles. stiles makes himself reachable to jane but maintains the show.
11. Partridge fakes his death. Jane fakes a red john killing in the blast (last scene of 606), making red john absolutely sure that the game has reached it's climax. Jane cleverly keeps lisbon out of it to maintain the status quo between him and red john. 607 will reveal the insider informant of red john in lisbon's team.
12. Now jane has a leverage he never had. he is just behind red john and red john couldn't possibly know it. Lorlie martins and bob kirkland may come back.
