THE THEORIES

Okay I'm not saying Brett Partridge is Red John but he fits so well with the character of Red John. Exactly why is he in PJ's list? Because Patrick Jane hates him? Maybe but indeed Patrick and Red John could be polar opposites with the same "mentalist" capabilities. Heller mentioned Red John to be similar to James Moriarty (and if you come to think of it, Partridge would be like the Moriarty in the series "Sherlock" starring Benedict Cumberbatch in which case the last episode shown as of the moment shows Moriarty faking his death in a near impossible way of faking). Now I have read majority of the theories that Partridge is Red John and I find majority of them to be very plausible and intriguing (especially to the Red Dragon Theory and that Partridge birds DO NOT like high places despite being birds) unlike the other suspects who are only described by a blind woman, and a psychiatrist. The only thing that makes me think that Partridge isn't Red John is Heller's statement that we will be very disappointed with who Red John is. Majority of the theories vouch for Partridge and if it's not him then majority of the viewers will definitely be disappointed.

Brett Partridge is Red John, he is not dead.  He set the whole thing up.  He had an accomplice knock out Teresa and made himself appear dead.  Don't forget what he did for a living.  He kills himself off so everyone does not suspect him. No one now suspects him.

I think the clues still add up to Brett Partridge.  He or Virgil Minelli were the best choices.  Then, the actor who plays Minelli went and gave a career performance as a villian on "24" and essentially was eliminated as a choice.  I think it will be a solid resolution, but no way is everyone going to be happy.  Partridge is not dead, and he pulled Lisbon down.  The way Jane will figure this out will be great.  Red John also used his abilities to prevent some communication with Jane following the Episode 1 encounter.  He may have been in the scene on Episode 2 dressed in drag.  But Van Pelt is his mole in the CBI.  She and Rigsby in tragic fashion will meet their end.  Either Red John will kill them both, or one will die and the other end up in prison(Rigsby dead/ Van Pelt captured).  Bret Stiles may be Partridge's father.  I can live with any of the reasonable choices as long as it is not Lisbon or Reede Smith.  The best choice not on the list would be Minelli, followed by Mashburn.  Jane will give us many details, but even he will not know all of them and will be shocked by what happens to Rigsby and Van Pelt.  I am also not sure that Jane will catch Partridge yet, only that we and he will discover Red John's true identity.  Either way, Tyger Tyger will go on for the rest of the season.  Congrats to Simon Baker, Heller and the rest of the creative team on a great 6 year ride with this story.  But it is definitely time for a new chapter and a new villian.  Really hope that GVP doesn't actually turn out bad, but it makes far more sense than anything else.

Maybe if we get to 666 Brett Partridge theories, he will be reanimated...

Haffner fans and other people mocking Partridge fans..; the show would be so much more exciting and surprising if it was Partridge in the end!!!

Unfortunately I have very little hope that it's him purely because Jack Plotnick said so..

But it would be so much more satisfying if it's him, than any of the other boring suspects! (except the sheriff or Stiles, they are the only ones I can accept after Partridge..Everyone else is hugely disappointing including the ridiculous non-list suspects that people have come up with..)

Go Partridge, sheriff or Stiles!!! :)

Before people start yelling in my face, "PARTRIDGE IS DEAD, IDIOT," I just want to say this:
If RJ isn't Partridge, I don't think it's someone on the list.
And if RJ turns out to be someone from the list who isn't Partridge, well, strike me dead or something.
The others just don't make sense.

Seriously, when I try and explain to people how Brett Partridge is Redjohn, and they start linking interviews, its ridiculous. "Brett Partridge is dead." What, are you 3 years old? You must be if you think that discounts him from being Redjohn. I'll try once more.

Brett Partridge is the name he made for himself when he became head of Tiger, Tiger. He kills that alias, to become, just Redjohn.

Brett = Son of Bret
Partridge = William Blake fan

Now I know how Patrick Jane felt when Teresa told the team about RJ suspects, and tracked them. Its the people that are really out of their depth that say "Brett Partridge is dead, you're delusional."

For those that say "It's unoriginal," I can respect that. But a lot of people knew Brett Partridge is Redjohn since season 1. He was the main suspect for all 6 seasons in viewer's eyes, bar the time when Timothy Carter was presumed to be Redjohn. Bruno needed to sacrifice originality to bring some surprise back. The backstory is absolutely immense, tracing back to Jane's days in the carnival! Here's a taste. Rosalynd Harker is the dying girl Patrick conned with his father, but there's waaay waaay more!  He can sacrifice originality, because the backstory contains information from EVERY SINGLE SEASON. *Can almost hear a hater chanting "Doi, How'd yoo know"* It's so cleverly done, its a masterpiece. For those that are still peed, who cares, you wouldn't understand most of it anyway? Millions of people will love it.
