here is the case people BRETT PARTRIDGE IS DEAD! sorry say it so you all saw his body and even Lisbon checked for a pulse If I can remember. partridge blood was even used to paint Lisbon face .
 These writers are so good they are not only metalizing Patrick and the whole crew but all the fans.  RJ is probably not  even one of the characters posted on the site and alot of people will be disappointed when he is revealed . A better suspect on the fans list if you ask me people will be WALTER MASHBURN.
 THE ONE GUY WHO PICTURE IS NOT EVEN UP HERE THAT NO ONE SUSPECT IS THE MAN CALLED ( MAX WINTER) I AM TELLING YOU ALOT OF MENTALIST FANS WILL BE DISAPPOINTED WHEN  RJ IS REVEALED . IT WOULD BE AS IF EVERYONE MISSED IT.

The point that Partridge isn't dead seems silly but when you think about it then it actually makes some sense. Go back to the first episode of this season and watch the last minute. You see Lisbon look up and then all of a sudden she is taken down from behind. The only person in that room is Partridge and sure enough she never checks him for a pulse. He could easily have been alive and surprised her. Not sure how he faked the rest of the police and everything but if he could then this theory makes the most sense. Also it will be intriguing because Patrick has all the suspects in the room except for Partridge so  he would be the most surprising person at this point.. 

Its funny. Like many other Mentalist fans, I could present a holistic, exciting theory pointing out Brett Partridge to be Redjohn, incorporating intriguing and relevant information from season one to season six, while providing excellent answers to suspected plotholes. But if I say what I think I'll be murdered by a hardcore Brett Partridge hater who thinks PJ is RJ/Haffner is RJ/the list is fake.

So I'll just say this to those haters, on behalf of every true Mentalist and Brett Partridge fan alike:

"You irk me. You're irksome."

And if Brett Partridge isn't Redjohn, then we're all Britney Spears.

I know that Partridge is supposedly dead, but I still believe he is Red John and have thought so since the episode that Patrick was kidnapped. He is the only suspect that was on the very first episode. His voice matched when Patrick was kidnapped. He appears a bit stupid around Patrick, I believe on purpose. He also appeared on the 2 episodes with Red John copycats. He could easily fake his own death being that he is a medical examiner and we all know that Red John has many followers within LE. How hard would it be to have followers in the ME office as well? And something that I just discovered today is that the name "Brett Partridge" is an anagram for Red Tiger Trap with only 2 letters not being used. Out of the 7 suspects, he is the least likely, yet the most obvious if you ask me.

Reading some other people's theories I had a thought I figured I'd share...

Someone said Haffner is not Red John because he wouldn't have had to bug the CBI.  Good point.  Going along with that point, Bertrum, Smith and McAllister wouldn't have to do that either.  Stiles wouldn't either since he has Haffner in Visualize..  Someone also pointed out McAllister had a distance to cover after Jane did the interview and the time when Red John murdered his family.  Another good point.  I was just thinking...IF Partridge is Red John, wouldn't he have had to bug the CBI?  He can't just show up to work like before since obviously he is supposed to be dead.  Another "if..."  IF Bertrum is in this "Tyger, Tyger" deal, and IF they are essentially all Red John followers, if would have been simple to cover up a fake death.  Bertrum was the first on the scene and we've never seen a body.  We saw Timothy Carter's body in the morgue...good enough for me there.  I just think it's strange that we haven't seen or heard of him since.  Heller said we'd be disappointed when we discover Red John's identity...most people suspected Partridge from the beginning, and he's sort of the most logical choice so...maybe that'd be disappointing?  If I had to pick someone I'd go with Partridge...
