THE THEORIES

Does anybody else get the feeling that when Red John said tyger, tyger in the season 2 finale, Bruno Heller had not come up with this whole tiger, tiger organization idea yet?

It feels like he's just added this whole other storyline recently..I'm a bit disheartened by all of this, he's always said he knew exactly what was going to happen from the beginning but it really doesn't look like it at the moment.

I don't know who to accuse any more, I just chose Brett Partridge because every other outcome will seem a bit boring to me..It could be Haffner though.

For me, Case is closed!

Now! Why William Blake and his poem Tiger Tiger?

Clever and certainly not random!!

My elaborated argument is in here:

There were no pigeons, or any birds for that matter, in Red Listed. However..I did notice something pointing to Episode 7: The Great Red Dragon. When Jane met Hightower in that restaurant..did anybody else notice the dragon design in the foreground? It was a cool foreshadowing I thought:)

What do you guys think about the dragon symbolism and how it will fit with Red John?

If Red John is someone on PJs list then I think it's probably Partridge - it's just my gut. He may have faked his death

Hey Folks! I am disappointed of some of the votes here to people like Ray Haffner! So Obvious!

You have to think within the frameworks of the script and characters.
RJ is a proactive game-lover and super-smart evil psycho; negative of Patrick.

So think about this question:
What does he do after he has told Patrick he know about all of the people on the list?

My guess? He has always been one step ahead of Patrick as we have witnessed! He doesn't lay back for other witnesses to be eliminated and let PJ find him like that! He creates a game and fakes his death until all of the suspects are dead, and laughs his ass off! He needs to prove to Jane that he is smarter!

You can see some other reasons, referring to the first episode here:

Pls tell me why you think differently!
Thanks,
Tayaz

I have a crazy idea.  Brett Partridge isn't dead.  Think about it- we never saw a body.  The only follow-up that we got in the next episode was (if my memory serves me correctly) Gale Bertram stating that he was dead.  We thought we saw him die, but what if he was just acting?  Perhaps one of Red John's associates distracted Theresa Lisbon by opening the door, and then, the person who swiped her from behind and knocked her out was none other than Brett Partridge himself.  We have known all along that Red John has associates.  Although I don't necessarily think that Red John is a part of Tyger Tyger, I think he uses them to do his bidding.  I don't think any of them know who he is.  So what if Gale Bertram, and possibly others, helped cover up the fact that it wasn't Brett Partridge who died?  Maybe they killed some other poor sap and said it was Partridge.  Maybe there was no body at all.  I firmly believe that Partridge's death was faked.  His physical description and voice match perfectly.  I think he has been trying to throw Jane off track for years.  He also seems like the quiet, simple, understated, psychopath sort.  And, Heller had said that Red John IS one of the 7 on the list.  Brett Partridge has my vote for the identity of Red John.

I think Partridge is dead, it would just be very lame if he wasn't, bad writing.
But the people who think he is alive, will love the fact that the Tyger Tyger organisation has connections in all layers of law enforcement.
Even as low as the people that drive the "prison vans" or,  the first responders that came to collect the body of Partridge.
We still have 0 confirmation that he actually IS dead.

Just poking the fire here.
