Previously I appologize for my english. I have not find another way how to find out RJ except re-watch moment in the 13 episode 4 season. I want to pay attention on RJ's hand and physique. This hand of young man. We can exclude Stiles, Mcallister, Reed Smit (and you know why), Bertram, Minelli. So by this way there are left only two candidates. Why Partridge? He is more fit the description of Rosalind

I have been following this site for a long time, however it is my first post.
I would bet that "red john" isn't 1 person, it is a group, I dare to say that Bertram is the brain, Partridge commit the crimes and Bob is like the right hand of Bertram.
There is somehing strange in the CBN site.

The Sheriff has last seen in episode 2, Red Hair & Silver Tape, however the site says Episode 1, I dont think it is a typing error, maybe they had another suspect that was last seen in episode 1.
Any thoughts?

Huge Fan , Haven't skipped an episode . I have a crap load of theories and I am really confused about Who Red John Can be So i'm looking for your guys opinion so comment all you want. i need someone who is a critical thinker perhaps somebody with a more better answer or someone who has looked alot more deeper into this than me. Lets look at the facts. Okay of course there are the 7 names revealed in the Season finale

✓Brett Partridge ( We all know why the people with a [✗] by their names have gotten an ✗ . No need to explain because we Know that they don't fit the description/criteria. People with the [♦] are suspects that i can't completely rule out. And of course the main suspect)
However i Feel as if There has been Way too many connection through the CBI along from season 1 to just have a single killer . . I'm a believer of the red hearing theory , and also . There is the signature description of Red John Through Rosalind Harker, who happens to be Blind which is a key detail.
Red John is most likely Caucasian
Rosalind described him as "just under 6 feet tall"
Red John has short straight hair
Red John either has or puts on an odd, high pitched and soft voice
Red John should be older than 30 years (since his murders date back to the 90's)
Bret Partridge fits the description all to well in my Opinion but an instinct in me tells me not to go along with it. I wan't to know if it's possible that Red John could be tricking Rosalind since she is blind . Other accomplices get killed or commit suicide after Red john is finished with them . is it possible that he hasn't done it to Rosalind since she is blind and there are details she can't see on him , although she knows a lot about him?.
If Bret P. is Red John then how is it possible he is always one step ahead. Someone like Bertram would only be able to know what Jane is doing , And if So then he has to be in connection with Brett P.. in some way.
Lastly the red haring . My mind is telling me Brett P. Because of his Voice and physical features yet we know Red John wears a ring on his left hand shown in season 4 .

BUT! He doesn't fit the Red john description He's Fat , Bald and his voice is not so sweet. Now This means either He is an accomplice or they both take turns doing whatever it is that needs to get done .
Bob Kirkland is not Red John because Jason Lennon knows who is Red John et He didn't identifiy Bob in the hospital.
I've been lurking on the site for a while now and it's pretty fun I have to say now what I don't get is why are people not discussing what that rapist tried to say to Lisbon(end of 5x21) wasn't he saying "it's red john" dont know why Lisbon didmt get him to write it down but I think Laroche got the tongue from RJ he didn't cut it himself RJ did it Laroche knows who he is I think its Brett Partridge.

I have been following along but have a few questions of things I don't quite understand about the 7 suspects on the list. As a fan of the show i was quite disappointed with the list
1. If red john and jane both knew the clues then why did reed smith and bret stiles end up on the list? Reed smith is clearly too large to be red john-who is depicted as normal/skinny and according to red barn-red john is much younger than bret stiles. (obviously i understand most of the evidence is sketchy).
2. Brett partridge (and maybe haffner, bertrum) seem the only ones left who could realistically be red john (many other people have submitted evidence why it can't be kirkland, sheriff mcallister, stiles, smith). if Brett P is red john-isn't that an insult to Jane's intelligence? Partridge from the start is an obvious creep and way too interested in death. At this point i think he is the most likely character but i must admit id be disappointed if he is the red john mastermind because i don't think he totally fits the psychological profile (royston daniel and bret stiles seem much closer fits as mastermind).
back to the point-Jane can feel when red john is around-he does feel creeped out by Brett P but wouldnt Jane be able to sense or figure out Brett is Red John seasons ago. If he didn't figure out it was brett P then many people died due to Jane's failure.
3. Bret Stiles has alluded to he knows who red john is-why won't he reveal or stop red john? is he afraid or a part of it?
