I have a feeling that Brett is our man. As millions of you guys pointed out he fits the physical description by Rosalind. He is also that age I would imagine red john to be since his murders started in 1990s and I doubt he would the age of Stiles. Although he might be also connected to him. I like the idea of Stiles being RJs father and RJ a former member of visualize. That is why Stiles refuses to tell more about RJ although he clearly knows a lot about him. Another thing is the fact that he works at forensics. I mean does it get better for a serial killer than to work at forensics? He is summoned to places where his murders took place and in case he missed something he has the opportunity to fix it. That is why he almost never leaves any evidence. On top of that he can observe PJ while working and that is certainly beneficial for him, that is why he knows him that well. He also have that creepy vibe about him which is not a valid argument but you know :)

I'm not even sure if RJ is in the list but i'm sure EVERY person in the list will have a special relationship with RJ..But i want to say some things.

2-3 suspects are just there for episodes expanding like the Sherrif etc.

I don't know about the other but i want to speak for 4 people.

Kirkland: He stole the list after Lorelei's death so that means RJ knew from before that Patrick is doing a list and stuff. HOW? Start searching the people Jane told about the list.I suspect Lisbon but all the love stories fans will oppose me.I think Kirkland is after Red John too.I don't know why but i think he stole the list from Patrick and he asked Alexa (FBI) for infos so he can catch RJ first.So i think we will find a very deep story behind him soon. The scene in the hospital where Kirkland asked the RJ accoplice if he recognizes him is a bit strange tho.I think Kirkland was just a bait so we think we have a RJ suspect but in fact he is not! (++ Episodes for next season)

Brett:
Mhm..he fits the profile but he doesn't seem too clever to me.(Maybe he pretends to play with Patrick).I like how everytime he speaks to Patrick behind him is the Red Face but i don;t think he is mentally strong enought to be RJ. Plus he always seems a bit afraid when talking to Jane.

Heffner:
He dissapeared all this time after the Barn episode so we will have news from him soon. (Maybe the oldest friend of RJ).

Jane's Father.
Ye i know he is old,we dont know where he is etc etc..but he is the only one that could possibly know the happy memories of Jane.His motive for all these things?Dunno. I think we will see him too.Maybe he was hypnotized by RJ and he revealed Patrick's past to RJ.

Teresa:
Heh..(All people that watch the show for the love story please skip this). I know that she is considered a friend and the only person Patrick trusts but...look her face in every scene that RJ is the subject.Always a grin or a smile.She was asking like a maniac about the list everytime she could.She knew about the list from begin.So Red John may found out from her (video).I think and i want Teresa to be an accoplice of RJ.That or she is manipulated/hypnotized to reveal things.I think she will play a big role at the final episode.I think she is evil:P

A blind woman who had a relationship with Red John (aka Roy Tagliaferro) described him to Patrick Jane. She describes him as a man who is just under 6 feet tall, short straight hair. She said he was neither soft nor very muscular. She told Patrick that Red John did have strong, rough hands.Red John's signature is a bloody smiley face. He draws it on the wall of where he kills his victims. The smiley face is drawn with two fingers wearing a rubber glove before the blood dries. It is drawn in a clockwise motion leaving a slight opening at the top. The eyes and mouth are drawn in blood as well. Before the blood dries, it runs as if to make it look like the smiley face is crying.

Red John is nearly flawless when it comes to cleaning up evidence he may have left behind, he has short straight hair, he uses a rubber glove to draw the face, and has rough hands most probably because he uses his hands in his line of work. Red John likes people to see the crime scene in a specific order (smiley followed by body). a man who works with police officers and forensic agents would know how to position everything appropriately. He has a soft, slightly high pitched calm voice. On top of all of this evidence brett is on jane's list of 7 and has a strange fascination with red john. Also William blake (poet who made tyger tyger) also created a painting of two dead birds hung by their feet "A brace of partridge". If its not brett partridge it has to be Jane himself I can see no other characters that so perfectly fit the descriptions provided

There is no doubt that Partridge is the RJ simply because there is no evidence proving the opposite ..

I am very angry beacuse some of here so silly.

"The cards are up on the table and they're the real cards," Heller tells

So, one of them (7 suspects) is the real Red John! There isn't trick. And he also said before Patrick Jane isn't Red John!!!!! Despite of there are more than 100 theory about Patrick Jane!!!! It's a shame!!

My opinion is, Brett Partridge or Gale Bertram is Red John. If the handshaking was true and we saw it, obviusly Gale Bertram is the nemezis serial killer.

But, my first guess is since end of the season 2: Brett Partrige is Red John.

If you pause the red john murder scene when RJ slits her throat on the episode "His red right hand" when Jane said he makes a mistake, you can clearly identify that red john is Brett Partridge in the black hoodie. I have paused it on the right frame but I can't seem to be able to upload a photo on here. That's a shame, any suggestions on how I can share it?

I don't know about you guys, but I'm very disappointed from the season finale. :<
As many pointed out this can't be Jane's real list. My guess is he showed Lisbon the video with from the CD with exact names just to make her shut and keep the real list for him self, so she won't make a mistake and act weird around people like Mashburn, Minelli and Ardiles.
But even so, the episode was very disappointing for me. We got no new real clues to think of and work with except what Jane's list might be.
I dislike the idea that R.J may have "real" psychic abilities that they tried to point out with all the childhood memories and the exact names from the list etc.

From the bright side - Partridge was in the show again with all new haircut and looking exactly like the picture at the end. This was a bit weird in my opinion but probably just a blooper like you know the Van Pelt file when she joined CBI was taken from wikipedia lol.

My guess is, in the next season we will finally see Jane one step ahead and he will be only one that will have the real list of suspects. He just like me is probably sick and tired of Lisbon's stupidity and just gave her something to shut he up. I just wish myself more R.J episodes with more clues that make sense. After watching season 5 seems like the crew from here knows more about the damn show that the writers.
