THE THEORIES

I post again my theory, in a better language (English is not my mother language) I add some little clues.
Criminal profile
of Red John (modest work of myself)
A)Introduction
I start
from the writing on the wall. It makes no sense he is many, if ever
he should be he has many (accomplices). He is many means that there
are many RJ while Jane has always said that "Red John" is
only true one, the one who calls himself Roy Tagliaferro.
Brett
Partridge was never suspected in the series, and is never seen, at
least up to 5x09 when entering the suspects, until then it was just a
guess fans.
I thought that in the end we do a lot of guesswork and
maybe it is Partridge, which I do not even want to look stupid as it
is obvious that RJ is a bit 'noisy, but as the Joker, metaphorically
speaking, that is a crazy but smart. To direct a laboratory of
CSI Brett can not be a total idiot, maybe RJ does not like his
appearance and gets nervous talking to Jane directly, this shows
little, even with the disciples, in addition to the fact that it is
very cautious, the deleted RJ's profile in the pilot fits partially ,
maybe for this was so angry and killed his family instead of him, as
well as to hit him, because he recognized that he had the capacity to
"read" so well in him. RJ is also a showman and Brett is
very theatrical, it seems an actor who recites his part, with a
bizarre and cynical sense of humor, more than stupid. And despite all
the arguments on Mashburn and Harken, and despite Kirkland, Carter
and all the various suspects took turns over the years, apart all
the clues on Partridge, every time I think that Red Sky in the
Morning, that ' episode, episode of the disappearance of Kristina
(until now that the name of Partridge is back), seems to "scream"
out that RJ is Partridge, implicitly: the famous mirror scene (see
down in this text), when you watch that episode with attention you
would not say it's him. Also because the only explanation that never
leaves traces is to have precise knowledge of forensic science, and
then look out for details and delete everything else, knowing the
tricks of the trade. Hightower is also trapped by the CSI as well as
a forensic of CBI in the scene of Carter (and you will see two guys
of Partridge on these occasions).
B)The profile from Patrick Jane

"As I told
the police, he's a very ordinary-looking man. Mid 30s, medium height,
he has thinning brown hair. Uh, he's methodical and tidy. He keeps
himself very clean. He has a small speech impediment that he's deeply
ashamed of. He works at a clerical job and lives with his mother or a
sister in a single story blue house, with a citrus tree in the front
yard. Lemon, I think".
He is a man absolutely ordinary,
about 35 years (1968 to 2003 = 35 years exactly), of average height
(1.80), with thin brown hair (hair of Plotnick are thin. He is
methodical and nervous in front of an audience, disguised as sarcasm,
and is held very clean (he dress always elegant, well-maintained,
with the headset, it looks like a person who cares about him, jacket,
shirt and necktie even on the scene of a crime, which is rare for a
forensic man as the tie sticking out and you can get dirty, polluting
the scene). He has a small speech impediment which deeply ashamed (He
actually as Kirkland, if a strange pronunciation of some phonemes,
and a nasal voice, like that of RJ felt by us). He work in a clerical
job (In the original pilot talking about CSI lab and office) and
lives with his mother, or his sister, in a sad house / blue house
with a citrus tree in the front garden. Then he defined as "poor,
sad man" ugly little man, etc. This is the real insult, I
think.
I think they cut this scene and the other concerning
Partridge in the laboratory to not throw too much suspicion. It is
also the only character in the cast, along with Jane and the team,
and RJ Wagner, to appear in the promo of the series and in the pilot.
Partridge touch several time his necktie, it's a sexual reference.
C)The profile written by me
I try to make myself a profile of RJ,
whoever he is, "He's a white man, about 40 years or more, with a
particular item, like tea, literature and music of Bach, skilled in
disguises and in manual works, a person with an above-average
intelligence, with some trauma to the shoulder, as a child, you will
probably hear a misunderstood genius, as a boy he was envious of
those who have had some success (as Jane), sensitive and aware of its
large capacity, but angry at the world for not recognized him.
Successful business does not care that much, and killing he's believe
to have a mission, to bring light into the world, in some way, to
create the shows that meet its showman's side . Since these shows
are, according to him, the evidence of his creative genius, criticism
offends him deeply, especially when the insults come from people who
use their ability to appear what they are not (the fake psychics .)
and is rational and psychotic at the same time. Became sure of
himself, he began to love the power itself, beyond the killings, and
has put its experience at the service of a new business, enabling
them also to continue the old, or teach disciples who work for him in
the meantime by exploiting its ability to earn a lot of money, in
high places. He don't ask for money for his "assistance",
but favors and worshipness; this, combined with the phrase found in
the note to Jane ("dirty money"), however, indicates that
it has a certain kind of spirituality (indicative his attraction to
the mysticism of William Blake), and a certain contempt for material
things, which he uses to his higher goals. Eventually he found the
ideal challenge with Jane, first to beat it alone, then to make a
disciple. He knows very well the forensic science, informatics, and
medicine, as well as mentalism, social engineering, manipulation and
hypnosis, and deviates from the classic modus operandi and the
victimology (alone women in their home) if he need or want to do.
Especially using another m.o., unsigned, to almost the disciples that
is forced to eliminate (poison, firearms, electricity, used as
weapons.) While using his m.o., edged weapons and physical
aggression, even with electric taser, in other cases, leaving almost
always smiling face, perhaps as a sign of mockery, or perhaps because
it is linked to a childhood memory. He's attracted by blood, but is
not particularly sadistic, although it may become so.His father
despised his nerd interests, his mother was perhaps a kind of
puritanical, perhaps fanatical esotericism and psychic. He is clean,
but loves dirty crime scenes, so maybe the mother prevented him from
everything dirty as a child. Has enough repressed sexual urges, who
has sublimated act to punish with a knife on the bowels of the
victims. He raped one victim was then left to die, as if he could no
longer do his "show" with her, because he had strayed too
far from the m.o.; he has better relationship, with him, less people
such as children with them, as with those who want to win, it may
appear very friendly (as the child of 4x23); killed Jane's daughter,
to hit him and why she's a witness, but perhaps he has not woken up
and killed her in her sleep, in his bed. This treatment almost
"better" indicates that he had some remorse or regret, for
it "should" do. Remember the smell of the victims,
especially the baby shampoo with strawberries and cream. puts an
emphasis on the "lovely wife" rather than on her daughter,
and has therefore a certain hatred and jealousy of beautiful women
and men who have married. Despises those who imitate without
permission and he like integrity of his scenes, as he was designed
(the Peaks). It 's very good at hiding his true emotions, even if
sometimes it can suddenly make them shine. Has frequent mood swings
and sudden outbursts of anger, that in time he learned to control,
channeling in his work as a serial killer. Probably not very fond of
her physical appearance and does not like to show: the only woman -
not his disciple then not too psychopathic and manipulated - is one
that has been blind, and the other is a safe lover disciple disturbed
and psychotic (Lorelei), self-destructive and not too young
(Rebecca), his real friends, in reality only the most trusted
disciples are very few (4 or 5), the others are friends of friends or
people at its height does not scruples, however, to kill them, if
they become dangerous. "
D) Brett Partridge as a subject
suitable of this profile Note: is just an example, not a claim that
it is the truth, that its know by only the authors.
Brett
Partridge, Forensic leader of CBI fits the profile, and the clues to
the type of character that seems to be RJ, especially in the mind of
Bruno Heller.
Clues:
1)The words He is Mar: Many, Mar
(injured), Mate. Mate (comrade, similar to the word that RJ used by
Lorelei, comrade) means Officer (Officer): Partridge is a Supervising
Officer
2)The poetry of Blake: Blake painted a picture A brace of
partridge, which is similar to the scene of the crime (remember that
RJ is a showman) of the two men on the farm, shot and killed with
edged weapons and tied with iron wire
3)BRETTPARTRIDGEROYTAGLIAFERRO anagram report to the poem 'The Tyger
"Tiger, Tiger, BT, for a royal red part"
4)Partridge /
remember the myth of the blacksmith Perdix, and in the poetry of
Blake it speaks of iron, anvils and furnaces
-The voice of RJ,
especially in 2x23, is almost identical (including the pronunciation
of strange and strained many letters, such as "s"); there's a famous video on Youtube
5)The
"odd voice" described by the child (Haley) in 4x23
6)Partridge obviously admires RJ and pretends not to know the copycat, but it appears on their scenes
7)It's the boss of the forensics,
which obviously helped to trap the case for Hightower-Johnson
Montero
8)Has knowledge in police and earn enough (maybe Ray Haffner, and, through him, Visualize and FBI?)
9)He seems
insignificant, few appears (like the white whale in Moby Dick) but
has name (never mentioned until now), but is useless for plot (the
only one who has a name and surname of all the characters, who appear
very little times)

10)His third
appearance in 5x15 is after an episode (5x14) that was in the same museum when
Montero is killed
11)Jack Plotnick has not denied that he provided
the voice of RJ in 2x23, but he said he could not say anything to not
spoil the surprises
12)Some authors (especially Cindi
Grossenbacher) have pointed out, in response to fans on Twitter that
it would be an easy RJ, saying that a simple solution is the best
(Occam's razor), that RJ is just an ordinary man; author, after few
time to this revelation on Brett, left the chat on twitter

13High
exactly like Roy / RJ, 1.80/a little less of six feet
14)Physical
appearance and manner of dress reminiscent RJ
15)His hands, the
only part of RJ we see, we see the gloved in pilot and 2x23.
16)His
sarcastic character is similar to that of RJ
17)Theory of the
magician and the assistant: look at all the famous actors, such as
Whitford (as the "lovely and beauty assistant") and should
look at the magician (Plotnick)
18)It seems to allude to the fact
that he is RJ, with Jane: "Yes, but where is RJ?
19)The
"like-mirror scene" in 2x23: Jane goes away, comes back,
frightened Brett, then goes away, and RJ goes away, comes back,
Patrick scares, then goes away. This kind of joke seems to be typical
of ill humor Partridge / RJ
20)Has the medical and scientific
knowledge to get rid of the evidence
21)Attracted by the macabre
and blood
22)He hates Jane and psychics
23)Mother was a lover of
tabloids and gossip, maybe even psychics or mediums
24)Connection
to G. P. Partridge, psychiatrist
25)He knows the literature (Moby
Dick, Dickens)
26)Jane agrees with that Lisbon has the chills when
about to enter the house where there Partridge in 5x15, as well as
the priest and the two women in 5x13 with RJ, and Rosalind in morgue
near the laboratory Partridge
27)He and Jane are known (handshake
offscreen) but are not friends, as says Lorelei Martins. -Partridge
is a"bird": Vogelsong is, in english/german languge, "song
of bird", in the house there's a statue of a partridge; Jane
said that Lorelei song like a bird

- the
books: red books, "The five red herrings", and many
references to colour red
28)Circus references on Lorelei's murder
scene, Partridge seems a sort of clown.

Only suspect is probable, howewer.

I finish with a quote:
"The best place to hide something is in plain sight" (attributed to Edgar Allan Poe)

I think it is Brett because he has a massive dislike for Patrick Jane, and he also only ever shows up on the FAKE Red John cases and tries to convince Jane that it is a real Red John crime scene.

right from the very first episode, brett partridge was implemented as a crime scene analyst.  you very rarely see him, 3 episodes in total so far i believe   But, isnt it curious....why did the mentalist start where it did?  why didnt they start at RJ killing PJ wife and kids? or when PJ joined CBI?....the program started at that cbi case for a reason....for revelation.

remember.... your a ghoul.  he is urksome, sorry...he urkes me

Van Pelt is going to be Brett Partridges wife.  brett partridge works for the fbi...and van pelt is away to the fbi for 'special training'....right when homeland starts investigating for an obvious leak/mole.

That reaction says everything by itself. Nobody noticed it?.
(Season 5 episode 15 min 2 seconds 5 to 7).

I have read all the accusations on Brett Partridge and agree completely. At least, that is what is evident with all these clues in the series so far. I would like to add that Bret Partridge always makes his appearance when there is a fake Red John at play (he has been in both of those episodes). Probably to look for the clues and find the imitators.

P.S. Only thing that bothers me is that he has not yet been shown as a "relentless manipulator" as quoted by Lorelei.

Its probably Brett Partridge, but I say that with disappointment. Its not original and will be a big anti-climax. If you consider that PJ is Sherlock and RJ Moriarty, didn't the modern re-imagining of Sherlock in the UK already have Moriaty hidden as a forensic scientist...
