I love The Mentalist fans! They care so much about the show that they want to believe the horrible episode is a fake because they trust the writers and Bruno Heller. I really think this is very sweet and it breaks my heart that they will have to see the same episode tonight. :(

I know I'll get a lot of 'unlikely'-s because you are all still hanging on to the hope that something good is going to happen. It's very sad, but it won't guys.:( They rushed everything, they just want to move on with the story after Red John. 

They put us in a bad position. I love the actors and I want to watch as much Simon Baker as I can, but I lost respect for these lazy writers. If only they listened to the fans!

The greatest trick Bruno Heller ever pulled, was convincing the fans, that the leaked version of Red John was legit...

Please let it be so.

If Bruno did make an episode that was fake. He'd have to advertise it and make sure it leaks. I can safely say, that definitely happened.

- Link was leaked and wasn't taken down for 15+ hours
- Jimmy Gadd reports there was a leak on his twitter. It doesn't matter he says "Sorry," he's giving it publicity
- Jordan Harper refers to staying off social media to avoid spoilers, again giving it publicity
- A promo picture is leaked with Patrick killing Thomas McAllister
-Leaked early in French Itunes.... Because that's happened before? Oh wait, it hasn't.


In short, it was a very deliberate trick. Get ready for Plotnick as Red John.

it's simple. did we
learn how red john came up with the list of 7 in this leaked episode?
no? then this episode clearly isn't the real deal.
they already
showed us how did he learn about the happy memory so only the list is
remaining, and it absolutely can not be ignored just like that.
we will learn about the list and many other things while red john is still alive no doubt and from his mouth!

they
purposely made the 'fake' episode in order to protect the real identity
(something very similar happened here in my country with masterchef
show - they made 2 different endings with 2 different winners).
they
obviously didn't want to explain everything in fake episode, they are
saving all juicy stuff for the official run where i believe brett
partridge will be revealed as real red john. that horrible fake episode
was needed just so we can be relieved when we find out it's brett and
embrace him as red john. even haters will accept him after that horrible
mess. and that was the whole purpose of it.

also, some people
believe the leaked episode is the real one 'cause it looks so
convincing. of course it has to look. otherwise the plan wouldn't work.
trust me, it's gonna be mother of all twists.
