THE THEORIES

This is not a theory and maybe I'm wrong but.....
Season 6 Ep. 1 - at 37:00

You can clearly see the 7 suspects on the map, and their adress on the right.

K is Kirkland (and he is in L.A.)

S1 and S2 are B.Stiles and R.Smith.
I suppose S1 is R.Smith, because alphabetical order (Sm-St) and because S2 is on TRANSIT but close to Davis (Visualize HQ), so he will be Stiles.

H is R.Haffner (on TRANSIT too)

M is T.McAllister (TRANSIT, but in Sacramento Valley)

B is G.Bertram (725 Delta Ave Sacramento Ca)

and P is Partridge (5570 West Huron Sacramento Ca).

Noone can say who's RJ from that of course, because 1) nobody is in the same place (they are closed but not in the same place), and 2) this stupid Lisbon plan can be easy tricked just leaving the phone somewhere.

But...
The strange thing is "725 Delta Ave Sacramento" (Bertram).
There's no Delta Ave in Sacramento. There's a "Delta Queen Ave" but it's not there.
I checked very precisely, and Bertram's Red Dot is here: "38.423397, -121.289527"
(StreetView, then look at the Red Gate). Coincidence, Bruno?

The clue that Heller was talking about may have been the fact that the Sac PD squad that Teresa called right after the distress call, never arrived at the house. The person with the power to make that happen can only be.....

Okay here is the clue which the Heller is talking about- Brett Partridge was working for Red John, He came Jane to save him and recited that poem in his voice. In season 6 premiere red john called Partridge in that house and asked him to record a message for him in recorder. Then he killed him to confuse Jane. And when red john called Jane on his mobile he played that recording with the voice of Partridge as you can see he was painting Lisbon with his both hands (assuming he did't use loudspeaker on his phone). So from now on we will never hear that girlish voice from red john again.

It wasn't hard. was it?

Heller has said that we’ll be ‘disappointed’ when we find out who Red John is… and to be honest I’d be disappointed if it was any of the seven, they are either too obvious (Stiles Haffner and Kirkland) or too feeble (Partridge) or too underdeveloped as characters (McAllister and Smith)….what about Bertram?…well he did know the words to Tyger, Tyger, but this type of misdirection wouldn't be uncommon in a show of this complexity.

The ‘hero is the villain’ approach has been overused in film and TV – but it’d still be kinda cool if Jane was Red John.

Wouldn’t it be super cool if it was Lisbon? Just imagine her face, turning to camera to admit it was her all along. That’d be some dark-shizz.

All the usual reason that someone could not be Red John (too feeble, too dead, too good, too short, too young, too old, too close to Jane etc.) cease to count in this case because RJ is cast as a master manipulator and if anything; the series has told us not to accept any information at face-value.

As most people were, prior to the season premier I thought that the primary suspects to be RJ were BP and GB. While I wouldn't be totally surprised to learn that Partridge is in fact alive down the line, I would like to believe that RJ's identity wasn't revealed in episode one of the season. While suspecting Gale Bertram isn't anything out of the ordinary, what I'm about to say is. I believe PJ knew Lisbon would spill the beans about the list and in turn the entire team would find out. I think that Jane looked a bit to unsurprised and didn't act upset enough upon finding Lisbon had failed to keep her promise. While this may sound a bit outlandish, I have an odd feeling that Jane wanted the team to spill the beans in order to figure out which one of them is working with GB. I'm interested to see if anyone else feels similarly, but I really feel that between Rigsby, VP, and Cho, one of them is a lot more involved and sinister than we are aware.
