I just found this site a few weeks ago and have really enjoyed it. My wife and I have fallen headlong into this series. This is my first post and although I have ready through many theories, there is no way I've taken in all of them. So if this is a repost I apologize.

I've came up with this from reading everyone elses theories and I hope it makes sense.
I believe RJ to be many. As in He is mar... I believe the Tyger Tyger Organization is lead by RJ. RJ is not so much a single person as it is a title. Whoever is the leader of TTO at the time is RJ. So several people have been RJ over the years. This would explain how Timothy Carter knew the smell of PJ's family . Because actually killed his family because he was RJ at that particular time. After Jane kills him the next in line becomes RJ or maybe RJ is elected by by ranking members of TTO. The TTO, and RJ by default, have the same motives in their killing, Im not sure what this is though. The TTO has decided to do all killings similar in order to make the CBI/FBI/etc believe this to be the act of one man. So RJ has changed several times either because the acting RJ was killed or the leader of the TTO changed for some reason. If this is the case then several of the suspects could have been RJ at one time espcially Burtram, Haffner, and Stiles. This would also explain the differing descriptions given by people who knew RJ i.e. Rosalnd Harker and Sophie Miller.

More incriminating Van Pelt clues:

1. Three tattos on sholder is sign of breast cancer sruvivor. The doctors use the tattos to line up the radiation beams. Tatoo dots won't wash away during the course of the treatment.

2. When bug lady shows up and asks for Cho Van Pelt tells her Cho's not here, but his desk is over there in case you want to bug.

Problem with clue #2 is Van pelt already has access to much of what is said at Cho's desk
by virtue of working accross the room.  Need not be fatal problem - maybe she needs 24 hour coverage, or maybe she'll be off for more computer training soon.

This weeks regularly scheduled "are you doing it" talk between Cho and Rigsby shed no new light, except that Rigsby is very happy to wake up next to her. Looking forward to next weeks.

It's Grace, besides the RED hair, she's part of the investigation, more so since Lisbon shared the list of RJ suspects with her to keep track of electronically.  She's aloof and always watching; she's an expert with computers.  she will probably kill Rigsby before or as she is caught and they exit the series!!

I readed the latest ideas you guys added, and wondering myself too who redjohn is. If I am looking at all the suspect, then the list of seven can be quit right, cause by excident Patrick gets to know that he once shake the hand of Red John. (I even think but was not able to di that, this means Red John is already once seen in the first season, because the writers probaly will show back to the first season were Patrick all met and been followed by red John.) Still it is quit impresive that he was able to make a list of seven out of his memorie, probaly something red John did not expect him to do. (He made a mistake)
About the Tiger Tiger club in the police force that is working with each other to cover things up, and have there own agenda. It could be that when they catch Red John, that they use a sort of twist were the new story line will not be red John but the cbI will have to go after the organisation of Tiger Tiger, were Red john maybe was a member from, and that why they want to catch them too. (Then you would have a extra season atleast)

The Tyger Tyger group uses "lower level guys too" sooo, I've been thinking lately maybe Van Pelts a part of the little secret society? I don't think she has anything to do with RJ specifically because of how she dealt with the Craig thing, but I could see her being a spy for the Tyger group. She was last on the team, we know less about her than anyone else on the team, and how awesome would it be for someone in the inner circle to be involved? I'd imagine the best way to keep an eye on Patrick would be to have a spy he could trust on the inside. Shes always been a bit off to me; her thoughts on Visualize and that odd moment with the Sheriff in one of the prior seasons. And didn't she go on some type of retreat recently?  It's a long shot but, I can see her having sapped loyalties to Jane and Lisbon after she'd been on the team a while. 

Grace is tech savvy.
She is always left behind to gather data.
She has proven she can kill.
Amanda Righetti is leaving after this season.

I don't know how Amanda Righetti (Van Pelt) got that role.....

Her acting (facial expressions, gestures) are as expressive as the tree in my backyard. 

I can barely understand what she says.....too soft and too fast.....also like the tree in my backyard when the leaves rustle because of the wind.....

and finally her red hair reminds me of the fall colors on the tree in my backyard.

The entire team is full of life (Even CHO has some charisma god damn it!!!)......but Van Pelt....just a TALL Screw (screwed every now and then by Rigsby)

Not a theory, just an observation.....

I know, I know....Van Pelt fans will bitch and moan and select "Unlikely" to express their anger, frustration, but a fact is a fact. PERIOD!!
