Just like many of you,i am still watching this show in hopes of seeing the return of Red John (however small the chance of that happening). Maybe all of us (including me) who have been insulting Heller and the writers are in for a shock....................... because it just seems wrong that they would move on that fast from such a huge plot line such as Red John without even one explanation.

Fingers crossed Red John will be back.

What did that nice little guy (Patrick's friend who spoke some English) whisper into his ear when PJ was leaving the island? Does it have any significance or nothing? 

In the final moments of 6x08 there is a woman and blonde child walking as Jane is running away from McAllister's dead body. This is his wife and child. Look up Angela Ruskin-Jane on Mentalistwikia and you'll see she makes an appearance in this episode in Jane's Hallucination.

Key word: Hallucination. Maybe this means Jane was delusional and just Hallucinating the whole episode and he didn't really kill the real Red John, he just believed he did due to psychosis. Why else would they have him hallucinate?

Also Heller said that Red John would be revealed in season 7. I heard both Robin Tunney and Simon Baker have signed in for another season so maybe Heller got his wish and is extending the real Red John reveal for when he originally had it planned.

Same thing happened in fight club.

I don't watch shows that only do the killer of the week storyline, do they have finales? I was just curious because most tv shows that have a main story focus on the main story for finales; and because what will the Mentalist do without RJ in the finale?

So now it's a killer of the week show? Basically the show is now all filler, I can't stand Supernatural filler episodes so I think this Mentalist season is going to awful.

I don't think I'll be watching if Red John doesn't come back. They need an underlining plot like a big serial killer so that it's not just a killer of the week show.

can anyone tell me why others seasons have 22 episodes and this one only have 10 episodes? if so.. this is over tho... i mean because if we still have 12 episodes left this can make a good turn you know what i'm talking about? maybe RED JOHN thinks everything is cool out now and kill someone else and by make some mistake and this time PATRICK is really going to face him. but this time red john is going to talk smart even if he's dying not like the sheriff that was a dumb as fuck Red john.. anyways we still have a lot of answers not answered like, what happen to Patrick's father? why RED JOHN started killing people? but if there's only 10 episodes this is BULLSHIT because it would not make any sense if he doesn't answer questions...
