Justina over at spoilettv said this in a comment when asked how PJ framed RJ
it's one of my favorite parts, from the episode.
I just read somewhere here that someone got really dissapointed over the same thing , so can we hope that the episode you guy's have been watching is a leak
( please say yes)
For
me it wasen't so crutial who RJ was ( except Reede Smith) even tho I
had my favorite, I would enjoy whomever as long as the storyline was
worthy us mentalist fans, now after reading all of ur theories and comments, I'm not so sure
Please let this episode that you have watched be Bruno Hellers last red herring !
Well, after watching the episode, I don't really know how to feel. There were some great moments, and there were some ehhhhh moments. I was hoping that we would discover RJ's identity within the first 10 minutes and the rest of the show would be a witty and unveiling dialogue between Jane and RJ so we (AS THE AUDIENCE) could have some closure about all of the clues given in the past seasons. Sadly, that doesn't happen. I didn't really expect that.
If you're going into the episode expecting answers to unanswered questions, I'm just going to say this: you're going to be disappointed. I'M SORRY! One question is answered, but I don't want to spoil anything. It's best to drop your expectations on having your questions answered. NOW. LIKE RIGHT NOW.
My impressions of the overall episode were "ehhh." I say "ehhh" only because the episode is titled RED JOHN, yet he doesn't even make up the bulk of the episode. There was so much airtime WASTED on FBI/CBI bullcrap. FOR GOD SAKES YOU'VE CONSTRUCTED THIS EVIL MASTERMIND FOR 6 DAMN YEARS AND YOU LET SOME PESKY BUREAUCRATIC FBI/CBI RIVALRY OVERSHADOW THIS EVIL GENIUS? Fail. In that regard, I was completely let down. If you've been building a villain up for 6 entire years, I at least expect a full episode with the villain and hero having a tense dialogue. Nope. Not in this series.
I still love The Mentalist though, and I'll be tuning in to next week.
Enjoy the RJ reveal (or don't); I'm not exactly sure how you'll react.
Here is some explanation of Red John's voice.
"In season two's "Red Sky in the Morning," the first episode where Red
John physically appeared, Patrick Jane was wrapped in cling-film and his
archenemy recited William Blake's "The Tyger."
"Baker did Red John's voice and it stuck," Heller said"

then go to slide 5.
First time I have read anything that confirms who did Red John's Voice!!
I guess this is my final theory on here before the big reveal on Sunday. I think i speak for most of us when i say this show is epic.It took so long to get here and i hope they end the show on good terms ( All good things come to an end). If Red John turns out to be Partridge i will be very disappointed with Bruno and the writers.
Anyways, just wanted to mention something here about the last episode. I think it was Patrick's intention to force the closure of CBI because he either does not want Lisbon to get in his way when he kills RJ or because he wants to render useless Red John's ally in the CBI ( which is probably Van Pelt judging by how upset and worried she was ). Also my money is that Red John is a relative if Patrick or is actually a woman.
How many people want a link to the Red John episode at Sunday night to watch it online?
Green=Yes, I want a link.
Red=No, I will watch it live on CBS.
I'm speaking for myself, but please, if you got to watch "Red John" before us, don't spoil it.
Write some interesting clues, marked as spoilers, and tell us if you were satisfied with it.
And...in case you own a "special copy from the future" please link it..We'll watch it on CBS anyway
