I just read "along came a spider" by James Patterson at Last week about a killer who has a split personality. That made me think maybe PJ has a split personality as Red John. Pj knows a lot about little, insignificant details of red john crime scenes, maybe it's his unconscious brain telling him, a common theme with split personalities. The rj personality may be deliberately trying to set up situations for pj to lead him down a false road. Pj often talks about rj like he knows him like the back of his hand even though he had not met him face to face, he often talks about rj like he is himself!

Well, i dont know if anyone noticed this before. But today i was watching a re-run from a past episode when the team had a different boss........ the time when cho injured his back. So anyways the episode involved the CBI following this guy who they thought was going to snap at anytime and kill people. During the investigation Jane and the other boss were observing his characters to see if the suspect was indeed a "killer type". Fast forward the episode, Jane as usual caught the killer and out-witted the boss but at the very end the boss approaches Jane and says while he was observing the suspect he was also observing Jane. He said the qualities he observed showed that Jane was a psychopath and a killer!! This has to be the biggest clue that Jane has a double personality issue!!! 
Also how could he have destroyed that fond memory of his.................he was the only one who knew about that. Anyways there you have it.

PJ is RJ in one sense but not the other no pun intended.  PJ throughout having a troubled familiy life and other issues suffers from an undiagnosed case of multi personality disorder. ANd how it has gone undiagnosed for so long is due to his mentalist abilities are accessible by both personalities that of PJ and that of RJ. 

In essence Patrick is chasing his other personality the sick side of Red John but unaware of it. Using his mentalist abilities to have others unaware that they are doing and committing many of the acts for him Red John while under his mentalist influence.

Now will the final episode have Patrick jane in an alley questioning a gang member where Jane sees a reflection off a car window of him self but to his surprise for a moment the evil personality display itself (RJ)  at that point does Jane grab the gun of the gang member and start shooting at the reflection. Only to startle other nearby gang members who shoot and kill Jane along with injuring the gang member Jane was talking with  When police show up they find that a person limped away leaving a minor blood trail and find Jane dead on the ground with a little blood happy face drawn on the ground by Jane before he died. And no gun to be found.   The authorities leave the case open thinking red john killed Patrick Jane and never known they misinterupted the final crime scene.  PJ & RJ both go to the grave only knowing the truth. The end. 

Patrick Jane is Red Jone. But he do not know the truth becuase he has dual personality. There are two different persons in one genius mind of Patrick Jane...

I am sure PJ is not RJ ! Because when he remembers the scene of discovering his wife and his daughter dead, he is always surprised and at the same time terrified, is just his memory, nobody knows it, nobody can read his mind so he don't have to act in his imagination. The only theory which can be approved is that PJ has serious mental problems, like multiple personality. But it can't be possible, it would be noticed and also his thinking would be affected. Don't you see how many cases ended with charities made ​​by him? He is a good man !!! 

Red John could be Patrick Jane's alter ego in disguise. Lisbon, or Lorelei, or anyone would never know it. The 2005  Tamil Movie "Anniyan" was shot in the same way. Hero has Multiple personality and the innocent Identity assist police in finding the Criminal Identity. 

A human's subconscious mind is ahead of him, Just like RJ is ahead of PJ. Processing the wrong list is intentional so Lisbon will be focused on within CBI and Patrick Jane can still continue his disguise. He may have killed his wife and daughter, and used CBI to turn the case's direction. We all know he is capable of it. Truth can only be revealed by shooting a video of PJ's alter ego.

With Red John managing to get into Janes head to a) kill someone from his childhood that no-one else knew about, plus b) know who Janes seven suspects are can only mean that Red John must be Patrick Jane himself.
