i am not sure its jane but from what we know he likes mystery so my imagination is red john did kill his wife and daughter so what if jane did find and killed him but he thought it was so easy that his breakdown overruled his mind and his brain got divided half is red john which is ahead of jane and half jane to catch red john
I dont see Jane being Red John as why would he kill his Own wife and daughter and when he talks about them it always looks like he is imagineing them happy with him also when he had the drug in the tea and visuallised his daughter she was happy and for her to be murdered my her dad i dont think he would imagine her being happy
Correct me if I'm wrong but Jane was on TV taunting Red John when his family was killed. Wouldn't that just ruin all of these Jane theories? One of the only guys as smart as Jane that plays with him on here is J.J. LaRoche. A better theory than Jane.
Of course he is not! First of all it would ruined the main character of the series ( a hero). Second thing as we saw in the 3rd season RJ and PJ were in the same place at the same time, and the most important argument is that if PJ really has such mental disorder (schizophrenia etc.) he wouldn't be able to control it, so obviously his CBI "friends" and employers would recognized it imminently. Directors wants that at beginning of season 5 majority of you thinks of PJ as RJ and that is the strongest argument why he isn't the RJ!

first, i was sure that someone in the team of the CBI was RJ(lisbon,grace,rigsbi,cho and also minelli). but now after seeing the seasons of the show and reading people's theory's, i start accusing Patrick Jane maybe he is RJ, maybe he has schizophrenia and he doesn't know that.
i think it will be a great final episode if Patrick was RJ.
I believe that Patrick Jane, C.B.I. Consultant is Red John. It makes perfect sense! If you listen to Red John on the phone, it sounds like a distorted version of Simon Baker's voice. He is under 6 feet and he could have multiple personality disorder. When he is "sleeping" he is sub-consiously "sleep-killing" as Red John, causing him to feel like he has been up all night (insomnia). He most likely didnt know this was happening and he still currently doesnt know. One day he will marry Teresa Lisbon and sunconsiously kill her. (Prediction)
Yes, First of all, this is a brilliant website. Moving on to the theory of mine, i think its Patrick, unfortunately.
I just saw the Season 2 Finale(Red Sky at Night) for the 20th time or so. The premise is extremely intriguing. I mean, how in god's name does Red John end up at the place which was hard enough to find for Patrick in the first place? Also, Patrick has given numerous explanations as to how to recognize a hypnotized person. It all fits. Either he is hypnotized by somebody else, or he has an alter ego. Also, he seems to be ahead of Red John all the time. Also, the ridiculous death of Ganzer i.e The Supposed San Joaquin Killer, also, Jane is not shown on the show premises either. Its just too messed up, but yes, this is my theory.
also, Grace van pelt definitely is the Insider Red John has in the CBI.
