I still think it could be anyone, but one thing I think warrants focusing on is the scene where PJ sets up the two guns. It's very deliberate. In screenwriting you don't waste screentime on anything not really relevant. I think it is the pistol he wants to kill RJ with not the shotgun. Also the placement of two guns makes me think that he des not know who RJ is but he atleast knows of 1,2,or 3 that are definitely not RJ. I think he discovered that a while ago over the past three episodes and ever since making his list. He is too smart to not have atleast eliminated one or more suspects from his list. If this is true, I think atleast one of the 7 is aware, from Patrick, of atleast part of a plan that PJ has. I think this also may involve one or more of them being fake-killed. Maybe Stiles knows (since hes the one PJ had to go and see). Maybe McAllister is an ally and played the plan well by saying "it's not what you think." I think that nothing in the promos is as what it seems.
Questions for those who have more attention than me. Where do we see the photoboard with dead suspects that everyone is alluding too. I can't find that...
Red John is Ray Haffner.
Lorelei Martins said her sister's death set her free and brought her to her full reality. Do you really think she would hear deep thoughts like this from silly Smith or Bertram or the sheriff? The only people who can teach her these kind of things are Stiles and Haffner. She was an intelligent, beautiful woman, she would not have been attracted to anyone else but Haffner or Kirkland maybe. (the same goes for Rosalind and Kristina Fry - just imagine them with Haffner, nobody else comes close)
And there is the voice. We know Red John speaks in a gentle, soft voice, more people confirmed it. Do you really think when Red John spent months with Rosalind, he had a 'thingy' with him everytime he talked to her? (don't know what the thing is called that changes the voice). Haffner has a soft voice, so did Kirkland but none of the others do.
And then there's Sophie. She seemed to think he was an interesting, pleasant person who is hiding something. Just imagine Haffner talking to her; he is the kind of person who would hold back a lot of things while still being pleasant and nice.
Sometimes there's no need for complicated theories because everything's simple.
He has short straight hair, he is not thin and not too muscly, he is the right height, he and Patrick or not friends, etc..
Haffner is Red John.
I don't really have an accusation as to who Red John is, just a few thoughts... Is it possible that Red John is doing all this killing in compensation for a small penis? I think yes. That being said, all Jane has to do is get the guys to strip, see whose ding dong is the smallest and he has his man!
The actor playing him says he was 'stunned and flattered' when he learned that his character - one of seven final suspects - was the show's big bad. "Earning this little place in pop culture history was the last thing I ever expected," he admitted. "Truth be told, I thought I was a red herring."
MY BLUE HEAVEN:
he show goes two years into the future. Jane has been on the run for two years and is in south America. Lisbon is a small-town police chief in Washington. Rigsby and Van pelt have two kids and run a detective agency. Cho is with the fbi
BECAUSE IT SAYS ON THE CREDITS THE KID IS PORTRAYING A YOUNG RAY HAFFNER IN THE NEXT 2 EPISODES.
