It seems to me that Ray Haffner is Red John, but I like the idea that Mahoney put out about RJ being a forerunner to something bigger. Could this Great Red Dragon be Tyger Tyger? Is RJ an agent of TT? If that were the case then I see a much bigger narrative enfolding than just who is Red John? That would make for a better season, and better conclusion to the series itself. This is about to get real interesting.
As for people's insistence that Haffner can't be RJ because of his behavior in 6x05, I think that does more to confirm his being RJ since it has become obvious that RJ is behind Jane which is different from the past. RJ now does not know what to do since he is behind. He is getting sloppy because Jane is finally about to get him.
I'd like to see your thoughts on some questions I have.
I regards to the list. We haven't established how RJ would know PJ's list. Did Jane let Lisbon watch the video and show her the pictures just to feed her a list, all while he has a different one? That would be incongruent with what Heller stated.
Why would RJ give PJ a list that included himself in the off chance that PJ didn't have the same list? Then, why would he start killing off people on the list narrowing down the suspect pool?
I think the three dot tattoo is going to be a symbol for Tiger Tiger. I imagine in the upcoming episode several suspects will have this tattoo, confusing Jane. Red John will be among the suspects, but won't have the tattoo. I don't think it was Red John that killed the latest victim, but Tiger Tiger. Tiger Tiger is who wanted the CBI bugged to see what Jane knows. I don't see why Haffner or Stiles would have bugged the CBI in a careless manner...so I don't think they are Tiger Tiger, perhaps one is red John.

Well, the two main RJ suspects for now are ray haffner and mcallister, this is why im sure
haffner is RJ.
Some of the information has been collected from other potential theories, but some of it
is information that I found by myself (4,6,8 to be exact).
RJ Is one of the last 5 suspects, it has been confirmed by Heller, and PJ isn't RJ, nor anyone
who isn't in the list. The proof for that is the lack of the use of "red" in every episode, after
the 8th episode in this (6th) season.
1. Arachnophobia (Fear of spiders)
Patrick Jane's psychologist said that RJ suffers from Acrophobia or another type of phobia, so fear of
spiders not only is another phobia from the same family, but sounds almost the same as Acrophobia.
2. "He is mar.."
When RJ Killed in the end of the first series, the victim wrote on the wall (with his own blood) "He is mar.." which is almost for sure "He is man" = Heisman CUP, a football cup that guess who has one,
on his desk? Ray Haffner.

Ray Haffner has short hair, he's 6'1 tall,correct age to be in the burn, knows how to handle a
gun thin, well spoken, has many connections, member of visuallize and has a lot of money.

RJ is a great whistler, Ray Haffner whistle very good after his conversation with lisbon.
6. Admires jane's capabilities
Ray haffner always says that patrick jane is the smartest, and he's probably clever than him.
Ray haffner even asks other people what they think about jane.
7. Care for Lisbon
When RJ could have killed Lisbon, he chose not to do so.
RJ speaks a lot about Lisbon.
Ray haffner tried to transfer her to his firm, and he always come to talk to her after her encounters
with RJ.

Patrick jane's psychologist said that RJ has a lot of anger inside himself, the only suspect that jane
told the same thing (last episode S6E5) was to.. guess who.. Ray Haffner - he said to RH "You have
