There are some possibilities as for the previous episode:

1- the girl did not know the guy's name so she didn't tell jane who he was
2- Since she recognizes him as soon as she opens the door, he was not wearing a hoodie or mask
3- He has to be related to visualize because she was hired by the group

But cmon I say this is bullshit, she could easily have said his name (if she knew it) or like his hair colour, if he is old or fat, and they know RJ was just there and no one even looks for him when they get there? and really how fast is this guy, cuz the police was 6 blocks from there at night so he kills her and gets away (probably by car) and no one sees it?

If Jane doesn't undress all of the suspects in the next episode (which as a description says that all remaining RJ suspects will be gathered) it will be really disappointing.

I say it's Haffner due to a mishearing of the word acrophobia to aracnophobia and his link to visualize and physical profile.

Stiles wouldnt be able to kill her and get away so nimbly cuz he is too old. Smith is a Tyger Tyger member.

Also, isnt it strange that Rigsby says "I'm gonna find you somebody to love" and then all of a sudden the girl starts talking to cho? I mean I know she was hired but it's a very strong coincidence.

TBH , I believe also that RJ is not on the list,

In episode 6 we see that all these 5 remaining suspects are in this room, I think RJ is not in the room at all. just think about it, all those 5 suspects seem to be connected to the Tyger Tyger organisation, now this hasnt been proved but I think RJ has planned all this out very well. He is obviously not happy about this organisation and may want them all dead, thus he plants this fake list into PJ's head....

Knowing that eventually PJ will wanna track down and kill or dispose of them thus he is doing RJ's work. plus at the end of the episode 6 promo we see it exploding. RJ trying to kill all suspects in one go only PJ survives and its RJ: 1 PJ:0 yet again. Then after this the show can go in a couple of ways,

Rj quits CBI and falls into depression and Lisbon will get him out of it.
One of the main characters dies and thus PJ gets really serious.
Or none of these and he continues with the cbi, with RayHaffner, Bret Stiles, Gail Betram, Thomas Mcallister and Reede Smith will all be dead and a global investigation will begin, now this seems far fetched but i would like this to happen too bad seasons 1-5 were dragged out to long ...

i just wanna see the whole of Americans California Law Enforcement teams crumble beneath itself which is what will happen if the public find out about this Tyger tyger organisation, but how far up does it go, whos the leader?

If RJ is on the list, i want it to be. haffner btw just because he is a dumb clown like patrick.

Ray Haffner is Red John because the therapist that he went to said he had acrophobia.  He lied...he has arachnaphobia, hence his fear of the spider in the hotel.  Also, what stopped him from killing Lisbon was the fact that he saw a spider and a spiderweb in the place where he killed partridge.  He got scared and left early before he could finish his ritual.

When Bruno Heller told us that we could "trust" the list of seven suspects, I believe that he DID mean that Red John was one of the seven suspects.

I believe Ray Haffner is Red John for a number of reasons:
1. He and RJ like to whistle.
2. RJ has a phobia (according to Jane's psychiatrist), Haffner is afraid of spiders
3. He and RJ are left-handed
4. He matches the physical descriptions we have of RJ
5. I think he and Jane are alike, and that he's almost a little jealous of Jane's sharpness. I think this is a large part of why RJ wants PJ to join him.
6. Haffner obviously has a fondness of Lisbon, I believe Haffner as RJ did not kill her for this reason.


Just a theory about what kill happen this season:
Van Pelt and Grigsby are too happy... married and living with Grigsby's child. I believe RJ will kill Van Pelt and the baby to get under Jane's skin, mirroring the murder of Jane's family.

Also:
Why has RJ been so careless? I believe RJ is a very smart person. I can only believe that he's been putting clues out there for PJ because he likes the chase and he's ready to be caught. I'm curious to know more about RJ's background.

In tonight's episode, the private investigator was sure she had been hired by Visualize.  Why is that?  Perhaps that is because a known member of Visualize was the one who hired her!   Ray is a known member of Visualize now, and due to his absence towards the end of the episode, I find it highly likely he was the one murdering the private eye.  

On a side note, I think I solved another old mystery from season 1.  Remember in the episode "Red John's Friends", Jared Renfrew was found murdered and a message left in blood on the bathroom wall... "He is mar..."  I believe the message was meant to say "He is marked", this being a reference to the red tattoo on his left shoulder, as revealed by the private eye.  This leads me to think Red John has had this mark since season 1... maybe even years.  What is this mark?  Did he do it to himself, or was he branded by Visualize or someone else? I wonder what the significance is!

I think that Ray Haffner is RED JOHN but I don't think Bruno Heller will take that easy on us. He surely has some other theory in his mind. Waiting for RED JOHN to be revealed.

In the therapists voice recording she said red john had acrophobia.. But the tape faded a little.
That would be the only reason they showed haffner was afraid of spiders. Acrophobia - arachnophobia. And he touched janes shoulder in the hotel. With all of the other haffner clues previously stated by your guys awesome clues, that has to tell you guys, and definitely me, that this was the one clue that everyone simply overlooked tonight. It meant something... I think we found out tonight the biggest most missed clue!
