I reckon the "Tyger, Tyger"  group isn't associated with RJ. RJ seems like a guy who takes a lot of pride in his murders. He has his follower, who are usually used by him in order to pass on messages (the woman who gave the CD to PJ) or cover up some lose ends (the woman who killed Bosco and his team). However, I think all of his disciples end up dead pretty quickly, they clearly don't mean a lot to RJ. Why would RJ have a group of quite important people supporting him? He doesn't need them and they can take some credit away from his "work".

"But part of Red John’s plan involves bad intentions toward the other suspects on that list. It’s not a good list to be on"- Bruno Heller said this in an interview.

Does this eliminate the theory that RJ and the "Tyger, Tyger" group are working together? I certainly hope so.

Lets think about a couple of things. Why hasn't RJ killed PJ when he had the chance (he can still easily kill him). PJ is clearly quite a big threat to RJ, so why not get rid of him? He usually kills anyone who is a threat to him (e.g. Bosco). Why does he try and befriend Patrick? Personally, the only thing I can think off is that RJ needs Patrick's help for one reason or another- maybe the RJ wants to bring down the "Tyger, Tyger" group? I am probably wrong though.

Now, the main question, who is RJ? Haffner fits all the descriptions given by Rosalind Harker and Sophie Miller. He is also a member of Visualize, who IMO will play a key role soon. Add that to RJ letting Lisbon live when he had an easy chance to kill her and the fact that Haffner clearly really likes Lisbon.

I think Red John is probably Brett Stiles...

But I did notice something that points to Ray Haffner earlier this season. 

When Lisbon is captured by Red John, he paints blood on her face and 
releases her. 

This seemed quite odd and Patrick mentioned he didn't exactly know why this happened. 

It seems that Ray Haffner has a bit of a thing for Lisbon, so maybe that's why he
couldn't kill her or keep her hostage. 

It seemed too good an opportunity for Red John to torture Patrick because he 
undoubtably knows how important Lisbon is to him.

The only thing I can think of that would make his pass up this opportunity is if
Lisbon was too important to him to do anything. 

Either that, or RJ just wanted to toy with Lisbon given the phone tracking situation. 

Out of the 5 remaining though, I really think it's either Ray Haffner or Brett Stiles. 

The reasons for ruling out the other 3...

1. Reede Smith - He so freely let Patrick go and talk to Kirkland after Kirkland was caught, 
even though he was planning to kill Kirkland to keep him quiet. 

If he was RJ he wouldn't want them sharing information. 

Also, Reede doesn't seem to fit the "genius criminal" profile. He seems more of the brute
force type. 

2. Sherriff McAllister - Well he saved Patrick's life for one. I guess he could be RJ, but out of the
suspects, there seems to be the least amount of evidence pointing to him. Not enough evidence to
rule him out either, but as a gut feeling I don't think it's him. 

3. Bertram - The moment that really struck me was when Reede Smith kind of pulled rank on him
in the meeting with those two and McAllister. 

It made me think he's in the ring of corrupt law enforcers, possibly working for Red John. But a lower
member. I can't imagine Reede talking down to Bertram like that if he knew he was Red John. 

So my two main suspects. 

1. Brett Stiles - He has the resources. He has a darkness about him. The fact he has his own religion 
may point to needing to go to dark measures to experience life right on the edge. 

He's the only one of the suspects who is obviously a match for Patrick in his intelligence and ability 
to manipulate. Lorelii mentioned that RJ and Patrick were alike in the way they manipulated, so 
either one of the other suspects are hiding this trait, or it's Stiles. 

And out of the suspects he's also the only one who has shown the desire to help people if only they will 
follow him and give him undying loyalty (His disciples and in that scene with Grace when he offered to mentor her) 

2. Ray Haffner - he's my dark horse. He clearly has feelings for Lisbon. This may be why she wasn't killed
in episode 1 of this season. He also seems like he could be very intelligent. He doesn't give that away
one way or the other, whereas the suspects I've ruled out seem more like what you see is what you get. 

Whoever RJ turns out to be, it will be an exciting conclusion to the story! 

patridge, kirkland are dead. smith works for red john in the tyger tyger organization. so does bertram and mcallister. bret stiles is too famous, i believe, for red john to work with that level of discretion, he would need to be a face in the crowd, someone who you could look at and wouldn't remember. since mcallister and bertram were meeting when Jane interrupted them, and bertram was asked how much jane knew, i think that mcallister and bertram are definitely working for red john. this leaves Haffner. haffner does not stand out too much, seems kind hearted, and according to jane's (and red john's) therapist, red john is a man who conceals his intentions very well, since she said she could sense something dark underneath him. haffner seems capable of that, so i believe it'll be haffner.

Van Pelt is definitely a member of Visualize. It makes sense, she's been abused and is very open minded. And she's defensive when talking to Father DiBuono about Visualize. 

Maybe she's in conspiration with Haffner and maybe she met Craig due to similar interests, who knows...

Maybe she got in to PJs room at CBI, found the 7 seven suspects somehow and reported it and maybe she told him when she tracked the phones, who knows...
