THE THEORIES

Out of curiosity, where are you folks getting the idea that Jane is going to be encountering any legality issues regarding Red John?

Because that is frivolous.

There will be no charges against Jane, for killing Red John (and yes, Macallister was Red John)

It's so obvious the show is setting up for a series finale. Not a season finale, but a series finale.

The remaining cast is going to go there own ways.

I know everyone wants Red John back, but it will not happen.

In just a little over 5 weeks, the only episodes you will be watching from there on, will be reruns.

Sadly, the show botched the Red John chapter, but he has already been revealed, killed and is no longer part of the show.

Does anyone know the last episode in which Frye appeared?  The one I remember is the one in which RJ takes her from her home at the end of the episode.  Is there another one after that in which she becomes a recluse of some sort, based on what some commenters are writing here?

I'm glad the site will close down and the series will finish.

Hi everyone, hard to wait until Sunday/Monday !

Maybe may we countdown our time-left until the release of the episode.
4 things might happen (decreasing probability) :
- the stalker will continue to grab more attention
- nothing unusual, everybody will post new theories
- the website will be down for a while due to huge amount of submit.
- everybody will be hacked by this goof on feet

Have faith people, maybe the episode will be good, at least we could learn more about Marcus Spike.

OK.  I know all you guys have your issues with the Red John reveal and I also am pissed at Heller for such a crappy deal he gave us.  But you know what my biggest pet peeve is that was NEVER mentioned?  LISBON'S GUN!!!   For GOD'S SAKE the woman's revolver was found on the dead body of the man who shot Gale Bertram!!!!!   How the hell do you think it got there??!!  Did a pigeon carry it off and land it there?  Why wasn't this HUGE piece of major crime scene evidence held against her as some sort of accomplice/ to commit murder-charge???!!!   Ohhhhhhh  Noooooooooo.........  Let's just wipe it under the proverbial rug ... flash forward two years and without any questions make her a sheriff.  ----- Don't get me wrong, I love Lisbon but c'mon Heller... you specifically built up the scene in which Jane begged Lisbon to give him her gun to take to the church.  I guess we are supposed to think if a cop's gun is on a criminal without a reason but hasn't been fired it's totally OK 'cause ...you know... it's not like she was there or anything, right?    Grrrrrrrrrr!!!!

Hello blokes and sheila's. I have to agree that The Mentalist is probably going to come to a close next month. I'm actually from Launceston and the show is enormous here. (Yes, I am a Taswegian, so hello to my fellow Tanzanian's!)

Regardless, the fellow poster is on the right track. Bruno Heller has confirmed Red John is finished and will not return. Our hometown bloke, Simon Baker, has confirmed this too.

From what I read, most of you are upset how things panned out. I am not terribly disappointed; but think it could have been written differently.

With that said, it is up to you how you take things. Some mates love how Macallister was the masked man, some are irate.

Either way, try to enjoy the final few episodes, because the show will be signing off.

Cho and Lisbon, are the next to go, so you know.

What I tell you, is good oil.

Lisbon is scripted to begin a relationship with Marcus Pike and move to D.C. with him in one of the last 2 episodes. Bruno Heller also commented today that "Red John is not coming back. The show took a different direction after episode 8. We were prepared for the show to fall out of favor with some of the audience."
