THE THEORIES

Red John's Hand??

If you watch this promo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0PXkU0Me8V4 , and freeze it at about the 21 second mark on Red John's hand, and then compare it to the hands in episode 6, Fire and Brimestone at about 39:27 and freeze it, in my opinion it looks like McAllister's.  He has a distinct vein that stands out in both the promo, and scene that look identical.

You can watch the scene in episode 6 from about 37 mins in with all the suspects in the room with Jane and judge for yourself.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Here's something.  Just based on looking at these actors personal websites who would you say is looking like they would end up being RJ?

http://kevincorrigan.net Rob Kirkland (possibly brother? but what about the handshake?- herring)

http://www.jackplotnick.com Brett Partridge (maybe not dead - face not shown when checking for tattoo - herring?)

http://www.xanderberkeley.net Sheriff McAllister (methinks this his body never got burnt to a crisp and he fixed in a charred body double and left a touch of dna)

Forget about the others.  Stiles is way too old. Hafner is way too goofy (but how the hell could he not remember who RJ would be when we was on that damn farm.  Wasn't he there at the same time?!). Reede is desperately seeking susan. Bertram?! If he was even a bit smart enough at least he would have tossed a toupee on his coconut before heading to the bar - ridiculous.

As for the phobia about heights - that was RJs additional insecurity to not admit his true fear:
Sophie Miller recorded: I sense something deceptive and dark in his emotional makeup. However, there is every indication that his phobia issues are real whether acrophobia or some other issue remains to be seen.

Could it be pigeons?

Frankly when I came to this realization I had the chills.

If you caught the promo, we saw Red John, cooly walking down the church aisle, looked like a either bald or thiinley haired, middle aged, averagely built man. Taller than Stiles, shorter than Bertrum.

I will not waste your time. Give me 30  seconds and I guarantee you, I will prove my case:

What name did Bertrum use to check into the storage unit? Thomas

What was in the storage unit? Red Wine. Where is Thomas McAllister from? Napa Valley (Wine Capital)

These clues were given in that small scene, but from these clues, everything just clicked.
Heres How:

When Bertrum was going to reveal his shoulder, he looked to McAllister, as if waiting for approval. Smith looked to Bertrum, his Blake Association "Boss", because he admitted to being in the dark about Red John.

When Patrick saw his shoulder, the red john soundtrack played, and Patrick came to an almost surreal realization. It looked as if he wanted to shoot McAllister right there, if Stiles had not urged him to look at the other two.

The concluder:

Heller has put in many themes to this show, but Red, Birds, Blood, and Wine, are his overlying themes in episode naming, and motifs. McAllister planted the encoded "list of names" knowing it would reach Patrick. It is not a list of names but a letter telling him to meet in the church. Patrick decoded it, lyed to lisbon about knowing what it meant so he could go alone.
HERES THE KICKER:

In the church there is symbolism: The wine of the sacrament of Jesus, and the wings, of BIRDS (The phobia McAllister has), and Patrick realizes it all makes sense.

This is a site for theories. If you're interested in bashing other people's arguments through simple-minded ad hominems, please create a new website called "MyRedJohnIsTheRightRedJohnAndScrewEveryoneElse'sOpinions.com" because it's too counterproductive for someone to pull together all the facts to create a cohesive theory and have a commenter say "F you. That's stupid. Red John is ______ and you're wrong."

If you're going to try and discredit someone, AT LEAST use some sort of concrete evidence from the show.

Come on people; we're not four years old, are we now?

(By the way, this is not personal or relating to me at all. I just feel bad for people who are literally sitting at their computers typing away comprehensive theories for hours only to get bashed incoherently by others).

Just had a thought when posting a previous theory -- Bertram, McAllister and SMITH were all standing together when Jane made them get up against the wall.

So, how did McAllister die if Smith and Bertram didn't? McAllister has to be alive!  OH my I wonder if that means he's RJ?

Not what I wanted to see, but he was there from the beginning.

The name THOMAS has repeated throughout the show with different characters.  It means TWIN

Bertram used the name THOMAS when opening his storage/safe place.

When did Tiger, Tiger start?  It had to start somewhere.  I bet it was at the red barn and McAllister was the cop who helped Red John (the killer of the unidentified third person in the barn) get away with it.
