THE THEORIES

Guys I just found something interesting about Bertram in episode 16 of season 3 Red Queen, the episode where, long story short Madeleine Hightower kidnapped Patrick Jane at the CBI because she was being framed for the murder of Todd Johnson (former cop killer and know associative to Red John) and Montero(a friend of Todd Johnson who provided him weapons) and needed a plan to get away. After a few moments we see Bertram LaRoche and Lisbon discussing the situation and then Bertram says and I quote :

"And when they little heart doth wake, then the dreadful night shall break" and also revealing that he really likes this poem, which is a poem by William Blake, the same author of "Tyger tyger".

Also after reading theory #9429 I realized the importance of the detail that Bertram did not react in a predictable manner at all when Jane accused one of the 5 suspects to be Red John. He suspiciously kept his calm throughout the meeting (why is that?). I also realized after reading various theories that most of the clues giving actual description of Red John are misleading, a way to keep the viewers into the mystery. I mean Bruno is almost making fun of us, each episode we see how a new suspect is a good whistler, is scared of something, has only 3 letters in his name, etc.. almost like all of them are Red John. If we assume that Red John is one the five remaining suspects then I would definitively pick Sheriff Tom McAllister. The fact that Jane first pointed his gun at Tom means that he was expecting him from the start to have the tattoo ( which kinda of makes sense as Jane always knows who the killer is before even gathering enough proofs in all of his cases), and also we may assume that Jane does not know yet the Tyger tyger conspiracy so maybe Jane knew Red John would be Tom the day they met (episode 2 of season 1).

There is still far too many questions to be answered and I hope the next episode we have  clear options on the table as for the actual identity of Red John.
Its always a pleasure to hear what you guys think and thanks for reading.

Hi guys, first of all i won't list all the facts about McAllister  being a suspect. I'm just giving you this photo and do your own thoughts about it.

This is a scene from 1x23. As you can see i catched "Red John" who tried to escape and i think if you look closely you can see McAllister's belt.

Does anyone think the scene showing Thomas McAllister hunting deer had anything to do
With it?

Also, I'd be quite annoyed if it turned out to be reede, plus his body shape doesn't match the character we saw rescue PJ from those mental film students.

I think it's McAllister because of the remaining three suspects he has always a red head :)

Tv Guide Spoilers Inbound:

The actor playing Red John was stunned and flattered when he
learned that his character "one of seven final suspects" was the shows big
bad. "Earning this little place in pop culture history was the last
thing I ever expected, he admits "truth be told, I thought I was a red
herring."

McAllister or Smith it seems......
Hopefully that puts to end that someone outside the "seven suspect list"
being red john, sadly Patridge is/was Red John theories will be around
even after the reveal.....
You can also read up on what happens after the red john reveal, story wise.

The sheriff is one crazy fella. He hid the bomb under his hat.

I knew he was the one coming up with this explosive plan when he smiled after PJ told them to move to the other corner.

Both Bertram and Smith were kinda worried but the sheriff, nope, he just keeps on rocking his hillbilly attitude and shrugs it off like a boss.

PS: I want to note that just after Patrick calls the sheriff to set the meeting, Bret Stiles receives a note "Patrick Jane is looking for you". If we assume that RJ and Bret are related somehow (blood? friendship? idk), maybe RJ isn't *that* evil after all....he cares for his beloved mentor (father perhaps?).
