It seems that The Mentalist will be like most other shows: a lot of cliffhangers, teasing moments, possible clues... But in the end the writers do not manage to tie the loose ends. It's a shame, but we should have seen it coming.

As some of you already said:
- Bradley Whitford should have been the real Red John (end of S3)
- McAllister is a great actor, but he just doesn't feel right as the RJ character

Here's what you can expect to find out this Sunday night...
Red John will be revealed.
Patrick Jane will come face to face with his nemesis.
More than one Red John suspect will die.
More than one member of the (former?) CBI team will end up in cuffs.
Jane's sofa isn't the only thing missing at the CBI offices.
Who lost a foot in the explosion at Jane's home is still a mystery.
Someone utters the line, "Sometimes I think you like being helpless." Who says it and to whom might surprise you.
A member of the team walks away. Will it be for good?

Sorry guys, but the episode wasn't fake. I've watched it 3 times already and there's no way Heller can perfom an alter ending using the same promo scenes, which have to be included. It would be such a masterpiece if there's another Final, but lets be honest, that won't happen... 

I enjoyed the whole series, had fun, big time. But this ending, was just lame. If some of you are satisfied, well, i guess it's worth it, but im pretty that what most of us are truly thinking.

AT least we will know how Thomas got the 7 list name. They made us think about that in 2 different scenes.

Guys i havent seen the video but i have a theory that Bruno might have created 2 endings and purposefully leaked this one. Everyone knows how important this episode is for he Mentalist.. i mean people have waited for 6 years and the future of Mentalist depends on this episode. So they would have taken utmost care not to let anything leaked... but if something is leaked then that would be purposeful....

Okay, pretty much everybody agrees with me. Episode 8 sucked, I have waited 6years for bullshit. I am so desperate that I want it to be fake, as others said, an alternate ending. My last hope. Small chances but I am truly desperate

If all this below is true, I am dissappointed if McAllister is Red John, Before season 6 he was a NOBODY in the show, a few (3 tops) apperances in the entire 6 season series and he is Red John.
