Ok I have three thoughts.

1) Has anyone thought of the possibility that "he is mar" if finished would say "he is marked"... as in the tattoos? (this is the one that I would like feedback on)

These two are just musings
2) I think that Tolman Bunting would have been a really fun Red John.

3) i think it would have been best if the series would have ended after season three. Timothy Carter was a perfect Red John.  He was just creepy enough without being too creepy, he had the right voice, and he fit the description better that most of the current suspects.

Red John is the bad grades in our transcript...
Red John is anonymus..
Red John is in our hearts and minds...
Red John is one damn fella with whom we shall scare our kids when they refuse to sleep...
We will go to his grave and leave smiley carved apples on his gravestone...
We will remember him when we go outside late night...
We will hate Jane for killing him...
We will hate Bruno for not dragging RJ plot to another 6 seasons... and then another 6, and then another....
We will keep hating CBS for airing only 1 episode a week but not 35...

BUT MOST OF ALL:

We will miss the cute warm possibility of Red John being anyone on the show which is PRICELESS!!!

I had forgotten that when Lorelei tried to broker RJ's offer of friendship, Jane's test was to bring to RJ Lisbon's head as a sign of friendship. That kind of stifles any notions that he left Lisbon alive in S06 E01 because he was fond of her. Yet, then he severed the head of Sophie.

I know there's a connection, just a little puzzled. Thoughts?

Micheal Kirkland is not RJ and did not shake hands with PJ.

If MK was the one that shook PJ hand, then the real BK would have introduced himself again when he met PJ for the first time.  But everytime they meet after the handshake they act like they already know eachother.

A Point observed:

When Bob Kirkland asks Jason Lennon "Do U recognize me?", I can see two possibilities.

1. He was expecting that the latter might recognize him. So, his brother Michael could be RJ or an accomplice who is very famous one that other RJ accomplices will be able to recognize him.

2. The person asking the question could be Mike instead of Bob. Also Mike could be the one who shook hand with Jane and says "No. But, I know U!!". If this is true, then Mike could be RJ or could be covering RJ. Hellers word about List still holds good if Mike/Bob is RJ.

Any other possibilities from this point??? Also if Red John is someone else what could be an explanation for this point of asking "Do U recognize me"?? Comments plz...

I dont mind anyone being Red John provided the reveal is real good and a wonderful explanation follows....
