Bit random...but what if Jane's family aren't actually dead?

The 'ol tyger tyger group could have orcastrated the murder scene, drugging them or something-telling his wife they have to be under some kind if witness protection thing to stay alive, that way maybe they thought they could either eliminate jane as rj or manipulate him to work on the red John case?

I thought about this because of the episode title 'my blue heaven', and the lyrics about Molly, me n baby, maybe Jane gets reunited with his family? Sophie Miller could have been in on it too - it seems a bit obvious for rj to just leave her recording hanging about with such big clues on it-if he can cut her head off he can check her desk drawers??

It's a bit extravagant a theory but the story has to have some kind of epic ending doesn't it? Also I remember something similar happening in 'Monk' about his wife not really being dead.

Still don't have a clue who red John is though, but I doubt it's someone from the list, it's all too obvious and even the episodes with 'normal' murders happening have far more outlandish conclusions/suspects!

A couple thoughts....

Seeing the next weeks promo any 1 with a reasonably working brain will conclude RED JOHN IS NOT ON THAT DAMN LIST
Yes heller said it can be trusted...
People have a way with words, and can be trusted( if someone asked you are you on the list for that new night club . Wouldnt you reply 'yes my name is on the list' ... not it can be trusted. . The lack of directness SHOWS that the list is not the be all and end all.

Secondly, do you really think a tallented, well scripted story such as this would come down to those 7 suspects rolling uo their sleves like 'yup hes got the tattoo hes red john lets go home now'... really? I doubt it. Thats either a decoy or just a part of the plan of catching the real RJ .

Lastly again heller said we would be dispointed by who RJ is. You need to consider what type.. could it be we are disappointed because it was obvious, or naybe we are dissapointed because we have grown to like this person in the show and couldn't believe they would do such a thing.

Such a complex, sherlocky type series wouldnt come down to an ending such as episode 6.

Additional there are a lot of religious referrals in the show/show titles especially the book of revelations. .. which may or may not mean something.

Did you notice that the girl that bugged the CBI looked like Summer? Red John knew what Cho likes and send her to bug him. What im trying to say is that Red John is someone that knew about Cho and Summer

Only one thing is obvious, PJ is throwing a diversion with the seven. He's never that direct. And he wouldn't trust the team with this kind of info. The only time PJ acts the way he has of late is when he's orchestrating a rouse. Just think back to the character of PJ. Over the life of the show. So... What can we conclude? RJ is not on the list.

Ultimately, I think this will prove much more satisfying.

What if none of Jane's suspects are Red John? Red John knew the list before Jane, and therefore figured out how Jane got to that list and could've planned it all from the beginning. He could've purposely made Jane make a list of people who could be Red John, but really isn't. If he wanted the people on the list killed, he got a target on their backs....without getting directly involved and in the promo for the next episode it shows Jane threatening to shoot all the suspects.......though that's probably not gonna happen....but that doesn't mean one of the suspects he gathered in the room is Red John.
